- Israeli war coverage: Hamas and Islamic Jijad battled Israeli forces in close combat on Tuesday. Gaza city residents fled as Israeli fire tanks moved deeper into the heart of the city. Hamas and its ally Islamic Jihad said its fighters battled with machine guns, mortar fire and anti-tank missiles on front lines.
Israel vs. Hamas today: Heavy bombardment shook Gaza as thousands of Palestinians searched for shelter. The Israeli military said it had told hospitals and other medical facilities that they did not need to evacuate.
Israeli airstrikes in the town of Deir al-Balah and nearby refugee camps killed at least 14 people according to officials at al-Aqsa Martyrs.

They literally took our home in 1947. If being in a place for 800 years doesn't make it your home, I'm not sure what does. Americans have been in this land a lot less time than that...

If you use a protective site for war they lose their protection under the Law of Arms conflict. It is common sense to anyone that served.
I have served 10 years in the US military, and we didn't indiscriminately bomb schools and mosques in Afghanistan. We did not kill 100 persones to free 1. If you are going to bomb protective sites, you better give strong evidence that these sites are really used by enemies' combattants. What is going on there is no longer a war. Israel-Hamas war: Hamas losing deepen in Gaza amid no talks of Surrendering.
Several notes:
There are pictures and there is information about the supposed school complex attacks. In at least one case, the thing that was attacked was actually a shack outside of the school and adjacent to it. The shack was used by Hamas police officers. Photos show that the school is undamaged by the precise strike.
In a negotiation where one side wishes a ceasefire, it can't say "if you don't cease fire now, I won't go into negotiations with you". Israel's bargaining chip (excluding the imprisoned criminals that are a secondary objective for Hamas) is its overwhelming offense and its ability to halt it temporarily in a deal. Why would it stop or even reduce its operations before a deal is made? If they want a ceasefire, they better agree to the deal.

Hamas evacuated from Gaza City along with the Palestinian civilians, so when the civilians return, Hamas militants return with them. So unless the IDF can separate all Palestinian males from the rest of the population, this problem will persist.

They didn't fail. They won it in the 6 day war 1967...gave it to the PA in 1994 with Oslo Accords.
