lol, I thought I was the only one with this problem, I took the PC88 out of my studio and placed it in storage, but I truly miss the keyboard action, so when get some downtime I'll get to work on it; thanks for the info!
My PC88 made those squeaks from the day I bought it new. Quite annoying. The only reason I have opened the case before is to install the VGM board and replace the battery but I did not want to risk taking the keys out to find the squeak. Thanks

I just developed a light clicky (not squeeky) noise on one of my keys, would you know if this same procedure would work to fix the problem?
