It's like of you had a torn ACL. Are you going to sit there at the end of the basketball game or get sent straight to the hospital? As for covering his face, anyone who has gotten hit in the face whether by accident or by boxing knows that your eyes get incredibly sensitive to lights. That's why you see fighters wear sunglasses after a fight. It's entirely possible he tried to cover the light from flashing into his eyes. And don't talk about Conor when he basically admitted to selling out during the Khabib fight. "It's only business." This after he throws a trolley into a bus and injured other fighters.

I think Max should take some time off and re-invent himself at 155 and make a run for that belt in a couple years. He's still so young and will get better especially with a much easier weight cut
