CAMPING in rain forest by LAKE

- This was a great trip across a lake to an ancient beech forest. No rain for a change but it was SO close as you'll see from the drone footage. Stayed in the @HillebergTentmaker Staika with an Aquaquest tarp. Cooked up some great curry over my new Trangia 25 and a campfire. Hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone. Celebrating 10K subs with another 2 nighter this time on the beach by a lake. Had to take my neighbour's boat to get there. No rain even though it threatened the whole time but possible the most beautiful location yet. Some stunning footage and great campfire chats with good food and of course cigars, beers and rum. Hope you enjoy.
As usual please be kind and respectful. Afterall this is just for fun and life is pretty hard right now for many so no need to make it harder with negativity. So keep it clean and enjoy the banter.

i feel your pain regarding your dad and terminal illness. I nursed my mother through an aggressive cancer and see passed in late 2019. Sometimes it still doesnt feel real.

I agree with you! This channel really helps keep a level of peace in my life. We all cried together over Brucie and I know I've cried while watching this channel because I knew the videos would calm me down. When I found this channel I wasn't able to sleep for days at a time and that hasn't been an issue for at least six months now. It's funny how a "camping channel" can mean so much to people.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your father, I too have lost both parents. I don’t know that it gets any easier but it gets to a point you can finally talk about it. I enjoyed this trip, although I missed Bruce, along with you and everyone else. Very moving your sharing the story about your dad. I lost my elder brother Gary in 2015, my dad in 2010 and my mom in 2009, so I know where you're coming from. Your dad would be so proud of you and what you've accomplished here Tony.

Hey Tony and Brucie I have enjoyed watching the videos and about your dad I feel you my dad passed away 12 years ago my mom passed away 4 years ago May the 17th and then my husband passed away 4 years ago June 4th I've had it pretty bad too but I love watching your shows I enjoy them very much. When Brucie is not with you it's just not the same but I know sometimes he can't be with you but I still love watching you Camp. I've always loved camping but I really never got to do it and my lifetime so far. So enjoy yourself because I'm going to enjoy watching you and Brucie and tell your wife I said hello

Don’t ever apologize for showing your feelings and emotions on how much you love someone. I lost my grandma back in March as well. She took care of me almost my first 18 years of life. Yeah just keep doing what you are doing and be honest and accepting about everything, because of that, this really feels like going camping with a friend and all the little chit chat in between and I love it. Take all the love you can from these comments and go for the 100k easy bro. And yes, never apologize for emotions, may sound weird but these really honest scenes just make me like you even more. I found your channel about a week ago. You can almost sense peacefulness and tranquility watching these videos, it's difficult to put into words. I've watched nearly all them already, not in any particular order though for some reason on my part; I watched this one last. Each one really is a journey. It's very palpable. Tony, you really need to make Bruce an emotional support animal. So you can take him to national Parks or anywhere you go! I and my dog both love to watch you two exploring nature and I think it would be a great idea that you kept him by your side throughout your videos. My dog and I both love to watch you camp and explore and discover.

Started watching your videos a few days ago, I enjoy them alot. They are helping to pass time until the weather gets better and go camping with my father.
