      In the world of football, it is common knowledge Lyon has one of the best academies in history, even better than La Massia may I add( consistently producing homegrown talent of amazing quality. Barca's academy only became ok in the 00s. Where is the latest product now?).

    I'm part of Ajax academy. It's very good but it gets very intense. My uncle quit after a couple weeks. I didn't and I have manage to stay for months. It's no joke when they say it's the best bra sue it is but it comes with a price. We had to push goal nets in the pouring rain at 4 am!! And one time we had to do it at 3 am! It crazy but they help you with character. They also feed you a strict diet. One time my friend brought a chocolate bar after break and he got terminated from the academy. He was mad that he punched one of the trainers and after all this is all bullshit and I wasted your time reading this...

    Hi! I remember watching this vid and I have always dreamed of being apart of a football academy. 6 months ago, I received a call saying I have been enrolled into the La Masia (Barcelona) Youth Academy. It is indeed amazing! We have great facilities and campus, I do really enjoy it here over in Spain. We are on quite a strict diet but the food tastes delicious. They literally made me a really good player. Also, the accommodation is fantastic! If you told me 4 years ago that I would be playing for La Masia in Spain, then I would've just said "Thanks for being nice". Great vid!

    ajax havent produced anyone in so long

    la masia influence could even be felt in spain success at the world cup and euros victory
    more players n the world cup final 2010 came from la masia than any other academy put together
    players like messi the best player of all time better than anyone to come out of ajax with all respect to their legends its a fact
    considering the quantity and quality of players that are currently in the barca team from their academy

    I'm not even a WestHam fan but it was the first English team i thought of for this topic yet it didn't make the top10???? I guessed by number 9 that Ajax would be in 1st place but why put teams in just because they're big names? and i'm not on about ManUtd because their youth system has always proved to be great (not just the league&cup double winning team of 1995/96 and later treble winning team etc...they also had the busby babes in the 50's) but RealMadrid lol the short list of players mentioned from Madrid is nowhere near the amount WestHam have produced, Real Madrid are a buying club, this topic is on team's who produce many players that go on and do very well in their career so you've got to have WestHam instead of RealMadrid.

    Brommapojkarna in Sweden is an interesting one. The first team has basically no fans and yoyos between the first and third tier, but they have the Nordic's largest youth organization and have developed tons of European top league players and Swedish nationals over the years, like Dejan Kulusevski, Viktor Gyökeres, Albin Ekdal, Hjalmar Ekdal, John Guidetti, Carl Starfelt, Ludwig Augustinsson, Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Daniel Majstorovic, Bojan Djordjic and many more. Lucas Bergvall (now in Djurgården) and John Mellberg (now in RB Salzburg) will surely make names for themselves in the coming years.

When it comes to best academies Chelsea is for sure top 4 and the recent results show this. The title of the video is wrong but it's still a decent video.

    • @eist8848
      @eist8848 Před 8 lety +1

      ben dockerill This video says it's about the academies. One of the very best academies in Europe at the last couple of years is Chelsea. It's not exactly an opinion because results back it up. Even if John Terry never played for Chelsea, the current results of their academies show they are great. In the next 3-4 years we can see if the current academy players can get in the first team. If some of them make it fine. If they don't, the academy managers and stuff have done their job right because their young players are constantly winning against the other young players. For that to happen individual quality is necessary. Many of them probably are some of the best young players in Europe at the moment. When the academy takes kids who are 14 and under and makes them (or help them become) top top class players for their age it means they do a fantastic job. After a certain age they must become professionals and play with the big boys. Lots of players fail to become professionals and most of them end up playing at Championship at best. Few people can make it at a top level and players almost never are ready to play for big teams without experience or a certain age. Most of the kids who manage to do that incredible achievement are not better than the rest of the players of the professional team and play to help them grow and improve faster. The majority of the time this doesn't work. Look at the dozens of players that came through Barca, Man United and Real Madrid and made it as professional footballers but not good enough for those teams.Chelsea at the moment i think, is one of the clubs who decide to play their best players 9/10 matches. If Ruben Loftus Cheek has gotten first team minutes, it's because he could be a starter for Stoke City or for Southampton. Don't expect him to play for at Championship or Aston Villa like it happens with dozens of players who come from other big clubs. I expect if a Chelsea academy player comes through, he will play at very high level. That's how the club works at the moment.

You better watch out because we might not be playing on the highest level, the talents are still pouring out of the academy. So if one they these talents won't go for the American(Man u), Qatar/Emirate(Man city, Barcelona, PSG), Russian (Chelsea) ore Europeaan "loan" (Real Madrid), money clubs. Then we might return to the highest stage. These clubs are so hard en persistent in backdooring FIFA/EUFA that this isn't going to change any anytime soon. You sold you soul, but we are still producing talents.

      +Dillan howard Alright, I guess thats fair. But untill they actually develop and get those Players to a professional level, they still have done shite in terms of youth players. ;-)

    @GameAndSpleep Před 8 lety

    Are youth academies completely different with citizenship than the actual senior team? Like in Spain they can only have 3 non European players. Does this apply to youth academies? Does citizenship become an issue when a European youth academy wants to bring a youngster from let's say North America/South America?

      +Affected LotroEU Yes, Real Madrid have produced 10x more players that play professional first team football all around the world than ManU. However, I do agree with your 2nd point. Pique has achieved alot of success, albeit, in a masked role. He is pure shite.

    • @affectedzed2865
      @affectedzed2865 Před 8 lety

      Marco can be right but Pique is utter shit. i defend the same. Also there is a difference between beeing a professional and beeing a world class player. ManU Academies > Real.
      If they had such good academies they wouldnt spend like bellends their money.

      Affected LotroEU that's true, you guys have produced many world beaters. But it's Perez who spends the money because he has no control over himself.

    REALLY? Then please change the name of the video to "Best EUROPEAN academy" because I call bullshit none South American academy is here... I mean Brazilians and Argentinian clubs have been the seeds for Europes best for ages. River Plate alone was influential in: Mascherano, Higuain, Lamela, Lanzini, Demichelis, Alexis Sanchez, Falcao, Crespo, Saviola, Cambiasso, Ayala, Ortega, Franchestoli, Kempes, Di Stefano, Sivori, Labruna, Carrizo, Omega, Mas, Passarella, Aimar, D`Alessandro, Gallardo, and the list goes on and on. So are you going to tell me that they don't deserve a place in this top 10? Bullshit again, and I just used River as an example, there are plenty of other south american football academys that would put the ones in this list to shame.

    • @IFlores105
      @IFlores105 Před 8 lety +1

      +IFlores105 Please stop centralizing football in Europe, when we all know South American clubs have as much or even greater history than some of Europes big clubs...

      +Tim Dev (Dude. Sweet.) Glad to hear that, but still the mistake was done, he clearly states at the beginning "Top ten academys in world football" and then just focuses in Europe. But Im not as angry as I sound, although it is frustrating for them to ignore football outside Europe (Not talking of all their videos, just this one) I only meant the comment to help them improve in future videos, as in clarifying better, or at least considering the work of non Europe clubs. But thanks anyways, glad their making one for South America :) its an awesome channel nevertheless
