Glad to hear Aaron is doing well. I loved watching this video, you are so loving and patient with your niece (you are going to be an amazing Mom someday). What fun memories you are creating for both her and you. You guys should start searching for that perfect car that the two of you can work on, then give it to Alaia on her 16th birthday.

Glad to hear Aaron is doing better. Knowing when to hold back, is the most adult thing you guys can do. I'm sure you put a load on yourself, to grow your channel, but, sometimes just tinkering with projects is good for the soul. I'm happy to see you smile, and if that means small projects getting done, instead of large scale projects, that's A-OK with me. As always, I'll be here to watch, and if you need help, ask.

I want to wish anyone with a heart passing down any information and or instructions, the best! All young hearts and Minds need direction. Whether they take it, or not! With a little silicone grease you should be able to slide those wires back into the boots then with some careful straightening you can usually get the plug terminals to work ok. It's always good to see kids take an interest in cars. I remember seeing her in the early videos, too. It's sad that HS Auto Shop in many schools is considered a place to send the problem kids to. I feel basic mechanic skills will forever be a part of your life. Helps develop problem solving skills, too. Also, who doesn't love an old truck. Looks at all that room in the engine companrtment. They have a built in bench and a tool tray!

First I'm really glad to hear Aaron is doing better and glad you are taking a breath when needed as everything always works out .The plugs you took out where a short reach .460 tapered seat plug 5/8 hex and the ones you put in where a 3/4 reach gaskets seat plug 13/16 hex and will not really work and the gasket are just jamming down in to the tapers hole where the gasket surface should have been it was a different style of head. I have seen this before in the years where they were changing from 3/4 reach plugs to .460 small hex tapered seat plug. Later when removing plugs it will be hard as the plug sticks out in the combustion chamber and get carbon-ed up on the threads where they are exposed. In those old low compression nothing will hit as everything has lots of clearance.

Don't fret about the exhaust leak, it can be covered in a future video. Hang tough, hon!
Those sparkplugs do not appear to be the correct ones, if there are taper seat plugs in it and you put regular gasket type plugs in it, then it will cause grief. Sparkplugs should be a R45TS rather than a R45T(AC Delco #)that I know of. Keep us posted!

So good to hear that Aaron is doing good. You are a great example for these children, good job. Something I learned as a kid may help next time. Use one of the long straight boots to help hold the spark plug when installing it. It will have enough holding pressure to start the threads and if it is crossthreading the boot will slip on the plug. Keep on keeping on! Love the videos, thanks

glad you guys are done in the valley and coming up to the mountain top again soon.
If you got a solid vette, aside from the eh-bodywork, you'll love it. And yes, you are right. Manual's on the C6 series only accounted for less than 30% of all C6's and C7's produced. Soon in 2023 models, there will be *zero* cars in the US with standard, aside from one or two models of a BMW. I've got a 2007 C6 manual - bought at only 2 years old and still have it. It's one that gives you that _permagrin_ smile every time. Only complaint is if it's not driven fairly often, the parasitic draw on the battery will run it below 10v on startup.
Good luck with all and from all of us that follow you, wishing you the best.

Growing up we were always camping in our travel trailer, but sometimes during the summer my parents would set us kids up in the trailer and our dad would stay out there with us and we just camp out in the yard which was still very fun.

Probably because most of them where bought to cruise in for looks, rather than for spirited driving.
I wonder if it had the wrong plugs in it before or after? Because the different thread length can make a difference to how it runs,

Neat idea having fun with your niece working on the truck. Learning about older vehicles, simple lots of room to get in with it.

My dad taught me to work on stuff when I was young, probably the best thing that was given to me as a kid.
Feels good hearing that Aarons improving.

Get well soon Aaron, glad to hear good news. You're a very good teacher Emily. That's a very cool camping rig.

Good to hear Aaron is improving. Waiting for the next lesson for "the kid" when working on older stuff and you are tightening bolts, your brain says just a little more -- absolutely don't listen to it! That's always when the bolts snap off.

I'm glad to hear that Aaron is improving. I love hearing the banter back and forth between The Kid and You while doing something. One thing that's good to learn young is that life is what happens when your planning other things besides the fish will be there on another day.

Ya know your limits good call on realizing that. One thing that we used to do for our camping fix when the ol cobra wouldn't run is back yard motor home camping with snacks and movies

Emily, first I love you and Aaron’s channel and sincerely hope and pray that Aaron continues to heal as do you. When a loved one hurts it hurts you too. I am a medically retired nurse due a life threatening illness and my time off work was spent wrenching on my cars, I haven’t been able to get back to either of my cars because I’m still having issues dealing with this illness, hope that I can get back to it in the spring. God bless you both.
