I remember watching this just 2 weeks before my 10th birthday, I'm glad I grew up when I did.
"Courtesy Of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!"
🕷
This was the "Lost" SPIDER-MAN episode when they cut the series into 2-hour movies - they had 13 hours worth of material, with two 2-parters and the pilot movie, so they had 9 episodes but only needed 8 to make 4 movies! Did air on Scifi US (Edited) Scifi UK (Unedited!) in the 1990's.
finally a REAL Spiderman
This was aired on the same day I was born.
What’s interesting that the “CBS Tuesday Night Movies” also had its full intro but it didn’t last long. I guess this intro was used for a limited time.
Nicholas Hammond was the perfect '70s/Bronze-Age of Comics, Spider-Man. He was great as Peter. Smart but not nerdy, shy but not a pathetic loser. That's the way Peter Parker was in the 1970's. Also the infamous cocky, sarcastic, humor of Peter Parker/Spider-Man is there if you listen for it. Parker's struggle with money and trying to do the right thing despite who he might hurt is in the late '70s tv show.
remember seeing this on tv
We need Nickolas Hammond to become Spider-Man once again in this world! The Spider verse is calling you to return as the one true Spider-Man!
He looks EXACTLY like the Spider-Man at Korvettes that I got the autograph of when I got my Spider-Man Mego action figure.
Also the one at the former Philadelphia toy stores, Play Town, before they bought by Lionel and renamed Kiddie City.
Pra mim um dos melhores episódios da série. Ação ao mais próximo do real.
FINALLY!!! The Opening!
RIP Suzanne Somers 😢
This goes back to my younger days. Thank you.
This is a fantastic upload! I’ve never seen one of the “next week” previews for these shows.
Still waiting for this fine show to be released on DVD …..
Funky soundtrack...
You got anymore Spider-Man episodes with Nicholas Hammond?
29:49 I believe the Excedrin commercial voice is Alan Bleviss, not Bob Landers.
There's a spiderman EP inside all these commercials 😂
TV back then was still so simple and laid back. Even the commercials were simple, not loud and hip like the ones seen today.
Oof, now I want to see Happily Ever After
I sure miss Newsbreak.
If you could combine u.s.a spider-man with japanese spider-man man that would have been the coolest super hero tv show ever!
Phillipe Petit played Spidey?
27:37 This must've been the first time the classic Morton Stevens theme wasn't used for the movie series. . It sounded like garbage.
📺📺❤ 😂📺🤣
" . . . and who, once disguised as Friedrich von Trapp, mild-mannered singer in a family vocal group that was fleeing their Nazi-occupied homeland . . . "
29:42 Julia Roberts?
Before MCU, Live action Marvel shows aired on CBS.
This ‘70’s Spider-Man is what I call a nice find.
