"Art is gone, disappeared into a ritual of itself," Isn't that the ritual the comments under this video, the majority, are partaking in when they compliment the skill of painting the illusion of the image of wonder bread rather trying questioning the meaning of the video? The video was exceedingly focused on the process of the painting, so I think Plastic Pills intended to cause this reaction. I believe Plastic Pills fed the main current to accelerate it, like the quote wants to.

Pills ive never done art analysis before so forgive me if this comment is a bit cringe.
But I catch an andy warhol influence (cambells soup). I know you did a vid on him before. I think the choice of chosing wonderbread is ironic because of it being a very generic commodity and you chose to elevate it by mimicking its image. Wonderbread is a signifier for the bland generic state of capitalist modernity. As another commenter mentioned bread can be an allusion to peter kropotkins the conquest of bread. by contrast, The bread symbolizing human emancipation from capital and a tyranical state.
