Good breakdown. I had only read the 1st issue when I read Eye of Darkness, so I kind of felt like I already knew most of the info, but it's still nice to get more details.
Thanks ! Well, concerning Elzar and Avar postions about attachment (concerning Bell) it’s “do what I say not what I do” ;) classic for some trainers but not a great mastering for Jedi knights or masters ;) we agreed.. They don’t reflect the better of the Jedi. 🙏🏼👍
I just finished reading these 4 issues a couple of days ago. I really enjoyed them and felt like they offered a lot of much needed story support to Eye of Darkness. Something that really bothers me (which you touched on a little at the end of your video) is how the creative team had previously always said during interview panels and on the HR Show that these stories can be read out of order and also can be consumed by themselves. This does NOT feel to be the case with Phase 3. Everything feels important in Phase 3. That doesn't impact me personally because I would read everything regardless, but I do worry that for casual readers (or those just wanting to stick with the main books) things could be extra confusing in this phase. thats totally fair!! I also had completely forgotten they'd said that originally until you just brought that up.... yeah it definitely doesn't feel like thats the case anymore! I would be confused trying to read any part of phase 3 without the others. I guess they changed their minds about doing it that way 🤣 -Lauren
