This video makes school look fun. When I was in middle school, we only had computer access for research purposes determined by the teacher and we weren’t even allowed to bring our phones to school. I still remember when I got to use an iPad to research the periodic table, the teacher left for 2 minutes to bring something to the front office, and I played Nick India Dab while he was gone, didn’t get caught, and felt like the main character for the rest of the day.

I really do miss when I was able to play games on my computer. Nowadays, my school blocks everything. They even blocked COOLMATH. They were quick about it too. I would find unblocked games for Pokémon emerald or fire emblem. Next day, the website gets blocked. It got to the point, where I can’t even put ‘unblocked’ on the search tab or else I will get blocked.
In high school cool math games was temporarily blocked and sometimes I was able to bypass it in study hall and if I think I'm getting caught I fake that I'm actually studying something and look up stuff on google

I can confirm from firsthand experience that, as of 2024, "Mum-Ball" is still in existence as "Silent Ball". Same exact game, played either by standing in a circle and sitting once you're out, or with all the students sitting atop their desks and moving down to their chairs once they're out.

Back when I was in like 4th or 5th grade me and my friends turned plastic water bottle caps into a currency.
We called them schnickels and different caps had different values (gallon jug caps > soda caps > water bottle caps).
Some kid even set up a bank that charged interest. I have no clue how we got the idea to do this.

In my middle school, we used to plat games on our chromebooks during class until the school filter started blocking everything. They blocked everything from Minecraft, super Mario bros, that snake game, tunnel rush, and even scratch (the entire website). It really sucked

In middle school we weren't allowed to use phones, watches and etc... . But there was a catch where if you used your laptop only for IT stuff like programming and such you could use it, no problem. So i basically told my teachers that i'm hardworking C++ (But in reality i just took some project ideas from chatgpt) and used my laptop for me and my other classmates to watch youtube or tiktok and i bringed my laptop literally everyday!
Bro my school blocked almost all the games. I keep discovering new games but the school keeps blocking them. And my principle is leaving so my terrible vice principal is taking over and basically just holding your phone on the way to lunch (thankfully phones are aloud durring lunch) it will get taken away until your parents pick it up or something. We can't even use them during free period or in the bathrooms anymore. (The bathrooms are prolly cuz of the tiktok girls) You were in middle school at the perfect time lol. None of the teachers knew anything about blocking stuff back then.

My english teacher got dat’ tea on every single person in the school, and she be gossiping about every single person possible in every class periods. But sometimes she will get that tea on YOU, she ain’t got no hesitation on spillin’ the beans to everybody. Some days her assignments will be real hard, that will even get you spending half the lass period on that one warm up, however, somedays she’ll put something as easy that you can literally speedrun it in 2 minutes. There’s even times in May (the last month of school) she’ll let the whole class go outside and finally play sports or just sit and do nothing for half of the class period for fridays. You’ll never know what sh¡t she’ll be up to today. It’ll be either embarrassing or just spilling tea on everybody the whole class
I enjoyed my grade 11 year a lot for some reason. Maybe because I was behind a computer screen for most of my grade 9&10 year. There would be times in grade 10 where if someone got Covid school would be done for the day and we'd have the rest of the day off and then for like 3-5 days we would have to do zoom and then it would happen again & again. Unitl my school was like fuck it jwe will just go online

In my elementary school, 3rd-5th grade or probably even 2nd (I skipped 1st) i had 8 hours of school. No matter when, in a line or even walking to my homeroom, people would jump across colored tiles. And in 5th grade we would touch only the colored tiles in the art room as a game. I genuinely hated my 5th grade teachers as they banned us from playing these games, that we called " leap frog. "
My school plays a game called “scatter ball” it was like dodgeball but we would run around the gym and throw dodgeballs at each other until there was one person left and that person was the winner. If you were the winner in scatter ball you were the coolest person in class for the next week. It was basically last man standing, but it was the most fun game I’ve ever played in elementary school. 🗣️
Once in the last period of the week the teacher went outside the class room because someone went to the “bathroom” but went Naruto running around the school and someone shot a piece of gum from the other side of the room and I landed in the garbage and everyone was shouting and screaming and yelling

I swear PE was such a mixed bag in my school, like there was a guy that looked like a whole wardrobe (he was fat not shredded) and when he was in school durning PE class he would throw that ball like a bullet. Nobody came in it's way and if you did it would probably rip your head or arm off, it even sounded like a gunshot when it bounced off the wall. But when it was time to for a fitness test (which sucked anyway) or football he would take 3-5 business days to get from the one end of the field or hall (we played on a "stadium" in the summer which was just a grass field lol and in the winter we played in the PE hall) so when there was running involved it was pretty chill

For me. we called it dodgeball but we had three hoops on each side and we mixed a volleyball in so if your on your own side and you throw it half-court for the sides it would bring the team in but for the one in the middle it just won the whole game for your team.
2:40 I’m still in middle and we call it freedom ball because there would be one football and if you threw it into the other hoop your whole class would be free. Also, if you threw the football (the freedom ball) to your jail side (the opposite side) then someone on your team who’s in jail would have to catch it to get everyone out.
My school has the most best school food ever - pizza sausage vegetarian sausage burger vegetarian burger fish and chips chicken nuggets
The desserts were just amazing too- cupcakes cookies this jelly thing in a plastic cup muffin with chocolate inside and on days like bonfire night,christmas,Halloween they have a special stuff like firework cookies, santa hats and trees and pumpkins and skulls for Halloween

I would save the favorite thing that I did during elementary school for Gym class was DDR Extreme 2 I mean, once we had the dance pads out and everything else everyone knew what was going on and let me tell you. That was like one of my most favorite things to do during elementary school in gym class

My grandfather told me that when he was a kid they played a version of dodgeball in gym where once you were out you played dead. The surviving teamates could STACK the "dead" players up and make a wall of bodies to give them more protection. The 50s were an interesting time.

I’m still in highschool and last year the school blocked extensions because people kept downloading games using them, but recently my friends friend found a way around it by making the browser switch accounts (because it’s set to the school account which is why everything’s blocked) and people have started downloading extensions.
Also if anyone has a chrome book and this is happening to them, what you do is you
1. Have a second gmail whether it’s you non-school email or a email you just made on the account.
2.you enter google.
3.you type I think “chrome web store authuser=1”
4.download extensions
This works because google automatically logs in with the school account which is set to 0, so using authuser=1 sets your account to another email which isn’t blocked because the school isn’t allowed to do that

My school had something called goguardian, and every classroom had it. There was a minister Wi-Fi or something, and basically everything was restricted and blocked apps, for example, Cool Math Poke and anything that had guns .except for character ed, they had non-restricted the computers sometimes you can't even use Google maps earth and Translate

In my primary school they had something like land school but I forgot what it was called, something with a v at the start, at ICT so the funniest stuff you could really do was while the teacher went to another student to talk to them and search something goofy on google copy the image and do some inspect element and show it to your friends. We would play Mumble or whatever but we called it silent ball. At the end of year 6/5th grade the teacher let me use scratch instead of me doing my homework.
Dodgeball in my school was called hoop dodgeball as if you get your ball in the hoop, your team wins. Just very simple stuff.

I don’t have dodgeball at gym because according to my teachers, it’s against the law, and instead of lanschool for me, it’s Goguardian, which can track location of Chromebook, and spy on kids, you kinda get it.
My school does every 4th grade plays tracked ball with triva and if you git the answer right you gain a point and if you make the trash in the basket you gain an extra point
