    I bought the new 22 ultra boost and I got to say I love how they feel on my feet. Also I'm only 5.5' with the extra boost on my heel it makes me feel much taller and that's a plus in my book.

    i totally agree... the firmer Boost to me is more comfortable for longer hours of use... ppl often dont appreciate that... i feel the regular boosts after wearing for longer hours my feet does start to get fatigue and sore... i usually walk for hours everyday and even like the futurecraft 4d feels better even though much firmer than boost...

    I purchased more Ultraboost shoes variant than any other shoes .
    I have 9 Pairs of ultraboost laceless , 1 pair of Ultraboost 20 & recently i bought the Ultraboost 21for $102 after discount.
    I love this shoes & used it as my daily wear . It is much more comfortable than skechers gowalk shoe .
    I never used ultraboost for running . I prefer the zoom x or react foam for running .
    Ultraboost is overprice & it is wise to buy it few months later to get big discount.

    Dude, YES! That con about the insole slipping! I went to the US Open a couple weeks ago and brought only one pair of shoes that I had never worn before: my new Ultraboost 21s. By the end of the first day it was obvious that the insole was sliding around, leaving the tips of my toes extending over the end and onto the midsole on both feet. I actually hated feeling this, and after a few weeks of wear, it’s hasn’t stopped. It’s actually very, very distracting.
    I’m somehow glad I’m not the only one and somebody else mentioned it. I was waiting for it to come up.

I stand on cement floors all day at work and they actually help me not have excruciating heel pain by the end of the day! They are truly the next best thing comfort-wise to my Birkenstocks. (Which I would never wear to work because I would be roasted mercilessly. And I would deserve it.) 😁

    I love both the Ultraboost DNA and the Ultraboost 21. I’m a short, fat old lady with wide feet and ankle issues. I’m a teacher and I wear my three pairs of 21’s almost every day: monochrome black, monochrome red, and gray and aqua blue. I wear the men’s version as I hate how narrow and short the toe box is on the women’s versions. It is a heavier and more aggressive looking shoe but I’m cool with that. If I want something more dainty or lighter, I’ll go for a pair of Converse Chucks (with orthotic insoles). Speaking with insoles- I don’t have to wear my insoles in these unless I plan on doing an insane amount of walking (more than I do walking around my classroom, campus, and running errands). I’m going to look for those white ones with the rainbow sole! Noice! Oh, these are easy to clean. I’m clumsy and accident prone and ha e splashed stuff on my feet and was able to remove it and clean my shoes up pretty easily by hand and in the washing machine.

    I had the same issue with the insole slipping! It would happen when I would walk a lot in them at work. I'm pretty skinny (roughly 150lbs) so weight may have some to do with the slippage since a friend of mine who is a little heavier has not had that issue. I eventually had my toes being off of the insole while wearing the shoe. Not only has it happened for me in the 21's but also in the 19's and 20's. I hope Adidas can fix this issue in the 22's since the issue has been consistent for multiple versions now

    I loved it the first time I tried on! But I couldn't keep it because of the front of the shoe, on the external side, was touching and hurting my little toe. I suppose it was because is quite narrow, but for me, the problem was the hard protection they have put in all around the front of the shoe. It's too sharp! I tried in one higher size but it was still touching, and was looking too big anyway.

    I only have 2 pairs of Ultraboosts: The original uncaged ones, and the recent UB21. I do feel like the UB21's are really firm compared to the older model. The primeknit upper feels nice but I am slightly disappointed the Boost midsole isn't as soft and squishy as the original models since that was my main reason to stick with Boosts. I do like the look of the 21's over the 19/20s though...

  • @star.soaked.wanderer

    Yeah the 21's were a big change from past Ultras in the sense that they were really tight but after about a month of wearing them I got used to that or maybe they loosened up, I don't know. But one problem I do have is I've only had the shoes five months and the texture that is glued to the bottom that contacts the ground? It's falling apart. parts of it have completely fallen off already and it hasn't even been 6 months. I much prefer the old texture
    I also almost fell down the stairs once because the big bubble on the back of the shoe clip Astaire that I was walking down but that's because I'm stupid, it's not really the shoe

    as a person with a wider foot i need to take the insoles out and even then they are still tight. especially around the ankle and top of my foot. like you mentioned the tongue material doesnt really give you much room to stretch if you have a fatter/wider foot. i did find that they stretch out over time however and its not as bad as before but if you have issues fitting into narrow shoes be ready to have your feet squeezed for 1-2 months before they stretch out enough to be comfortable.

  • @bradleysmith4317
    @bradleysmith4317 Pƙed 2 lety +4

    My biggest con is I don’t like the piece of material at the end of the toe. When wearing with thin socks or no socks you feel that with your toe and it’s kinda irritating. However with that being said, if that’s my biggest fault that’s not bad. I’m a fan. I would rate them 7.5 out of 10

    Any of you has had some peeling on the sole of their UB21? Amazon has lots of people complaining and showing pics of their peeled soles. With a sole composed of so many disparate units instead of just one whole sole like in the previous UBs, that's bound to the the first point of failure.

  • @lennardusprime
    @lennardusprime Pƙed 2 lety +4

    Great fitting and comfortable shoes. My main gripe with them after only five months is how much the sole actually wears. On my pair the rubber is mostly gone and the torsion bar is exposed. My ultraboost dna’s sole had way less wear after a year.

    I have the ultraboost 20 and I haven’t tried these shoes yet and I’m interested that the firmer feel is said to be more comfortable for standing up all day compared to a softer sole. I skipped these thinking that it was better to have softer vs stiffness. Also I didn’t realise these were good for wide feet the UB 20 feel ok to me and I have slightly wide feet, I heard that the new 22’s are narrow and I assumed the 21’s were as well. What other soft cushion soles can you recommend you say there are ones softer than this. As I get heel pain with plantar fasciitis and I use these shoes for standing up all day at work.

    No issues with Adidas over the years or Nike for a standard size ten in running trainers but these 21's have rubbed the hell out of my pinky toes which I have read about from other folks suffering the same on different forums. There is a piece of plastic/rubber sown inside the trainers around the toes area probably to protect from water getting in when running etc but when you buy these new and you are trying to break them in you might find if a pinky toe is anywhere near it, it's going cause some annoying painful rubbing issues especially when it comes to running. They have got better after 8 weeks of wearing and toes have started to heal but I'd like to see Adidas possibly remove that toe plastic/rubber section and simply have the comfortable mesh on there like other high end running trainers. The 21's are comfortable (other than the early toe rubbing) and I find them good to run in also even if they are on the heavy side. Just the initial pains wearing spoilt the whole buying experience as had heard so many good things.

    Dad some issues with my small toes rubbing on the side of the shoe .. maybe I need to go up a half size but I'm usually always a 9.5 so wondering if they run true to size..?

    I have 2 pairs of ultraboost the 1 and 3 model, both of them had the insole slipping inside when I wear them and they always scratch the back of my foot and it hurts..

    Luv this shoe but insole slides back and leaves space under toe. Mainly left so I thought maybe I just have a goofy foot. Good to know

      If you want to save some money the x_plr are a decent price and very comfortable. My gf wears that to work at the hospital for 12 hour shifts and says her feet never bother her. But everyone’s foot is different of course.

    Only problem I have with the shoes is that they are too tight on my feet like they are putting pressure / compressing them. Had them for a month and had to return them as my feet would get fatigue

      There is a cleaning kit listed in the description called “reshoevn8r” it cleans the upper of the shoe really well.

    It is really bad. I wore them for couple of weeks and never wore them again. Shoes sole keeps sliding and this upper mesh is not good support especially when running. You feel you feet is displacing left and right and your knees are hurting. Also thee heel drop creates so much pressure on my back.
