Which Trick was YOUR Favorite?!
the shoelaces trick was great, but my favorite was the guy with the long rope, that then had a bunch of square knots, then wound up being separate loops. i'm old, so i don't have to bend down to the ground to see that one :)
The end joke.
Hi chris from Ibiza Spain, i'm so happy to see you having fun with magic again since you are the reason i started
The shoelace trick was the only one I can't think of a method to duplicate the trick with... like.. the whole untying it at both ends is what gets me on that one.
That stapled corner to the card was sick, but of course we are a little biased 😅
Thank you for not only coming Chris but making yourself truly part of the convention in every aspect. You're a great member of our community. We are so grateful for everything you, Eric, Alex, and Wes did over the weekend.
Always!
Cool Alex and Eric also nice and Wes Barker cool everyone
The shoelaces trick was actually insane! Something I would expect so see in a David Blain special!
Thanks ;)
@@MrDonnovan27 that is the best trick I've seen in years
This is laced up by Donnovan Mount.
@@CaptainNematode thanks! It is currently out of stock every where. @Donnovan Mount when will it be back in stock?
@@jacobtrindade6728 Laced Up is currently in stock at Penguin Magic.
Someone stole my money and replaced it with multicolored handkerchiefs when I was there.
Down in Ohio, Swag like Ohio.
This was my first MagiFest. I loved it ❤
Mine too, and it was SO MUCH FUN
Mine too Wes!! Nice to see the big trick energy crew all there!!
I really like the first trick with the card box because not only was it just _insane_ but it also has the best name! "Case Dismissed!" 😆
bro that rope trick where it alll turned into loops has me spinning!!!! i must have it!!
What is the name of the rope trick? Would love to purchase it when it's available
The smile I had watching this!
Your love and passion pours out, and it's infectious, Chris!
Thank you for taking us along with you and doing what you do ❤️
That shoelace trick was freaking amazeballs!
Laced up by Donovan mount. Got mine. Love it
This is laced up by Donnovan Mount.
Messado and his rings were one of the first videos that made me want to learn magic and is still real magic to me. I could watch his routines for hours and I own and love his products, but the man makes the ring tricks just vibe on another level.
Thanks for stopping by the booth I really appreciate it. Such a great feature of magic throughout the video and convention. Great stuff
Such a cool vlog, Chris - cheers for sharing this with us.
I would love for something like that to happen over here 🙄...
This was one of those videos where my head was just 🤯 every time someone did something on the screen 🤣.
It's so good to see such love and enthusiasm for magic 🤘.
And ya gotta love, Wes 2nd Bicycle deck 🤣🤣🤣.
Looking forward to "You Flash, You Lose" and BoB 🤘.
Great video man - sick edit too 🤘🙏.
0:07 that's Cleveland. Columbus doesn't have a lake near downtown.
yeah my b haha
@@ChrisRamsay52 man no big deal. Ohio is an awesome place, glad to hear you were here. Hope you got to see a bit of the town or had some good food. Keep doing your thing!
The shoestring trick was INSANE.
Thanks for taking us along Chris! Not sure if I'll ever make it there so it's great to see on here! 👍
The shoelace and ring was magical. A far cry from the self-tying shoelace that I did when I was a lot younger. (I wonder if it could be adapted for snow-boots here in Ottawa, lol.) The shell game with dice and match boxes is great too!
This is laced up by Donnovan Mount. it can be adapted for any laces, but the m*****s wouldnt be strong enough for hiking after
Excellent show! You capture the most amazing things on camera, and it keeps the “Magic” looking great!
Anyone notice that the intro B-roll is Cleveland, not Cbus?
that shoelace and ring with moving tie I saw it recently somewhere it really melted my brain GREAT trick
That shoelace was so sick!
The shoelace and ring was SICK!!
Ok, that boxed trick was cool, but that trick with the reef knotted white rope that separates into individual sections, *with no magnets,* is mind boggling & definitely my favorite. My favorite card tricks were Cash's trick with the deck on the floor, the Ace of diamonds becoming the 2 & because he's a little man the kid's super smooth double lift card switch trick. I do a trick which is similar but his handling of the cards is definitely smoother than mine so hats off to little man.
Always enjoy these convention videos! Beautifully shot Chris ❤
The ringestry was stunning, the shoelaces and ring is just mind boggling!! I'll have to check out those podcasts
That rope toward the beginning was a great visual effect. Thanks for sharing this visit to the dealers room, a magicians favorite place in the world to hang out !
nice job Chris …
It was a pleasure meeting and talking with you 👍👍
These are probably my favorite videos of yours. They always remind me of my childhood going to the Del Mar Fair and visiting all the stands. The same magic guy was @ the same booth each year. First, the fresh mini doughnuts, then go check out the magic guy.
All of the tricks were really amazing. My favorite one was where the person made the card box disappear and them placed them back in the box without opening the box. That was really cool.
The Magifest cards look cool 👍I just received the 1ST Rider Backs yesterday, and I gotta say, they are sweet! 😎 I thought the match box monte was cute. But all of the tricks were super entertaining, though! Always enjoy your magic convention videos! ✨️ 💯
Great video 💯🔥😊, i smiled the entire video. Keep up the good work. Love y'all ❤️
Thank you for all the magic content lately
That shoelace illusion was seriously dope!
Holy Cow! I live in Columbus and had no idea that this was going on. Can’t wait till next year. Hopefully I’ll get to meet you sir. Great stuff as always.
I love the "could this be the greatest magic trick" videos cuz these tricks really are incredible!
I love these videos. I’m an amateur magician and I feel like I enjoy it much more than someone who doesn’t have a clue what’s going on. Thanks for this content Chris
The first time I saw the Shoe Lace trick it blew me away! One of the best tricks I've seen in such a long time! I was completely fooled!!
Great vlog as always. The edit on this is 🔥🔥
Please upload more videos like this ❤❤❤ thank you Chris ❤
Love it!
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers from the Philippines 🇵🇭
I had fun at You Flash You Lose, and it was awesome meeting you and the BTE boys! I hope they make YFYL a regular part of Magifest
The shoelace trick was bananas, but I really enjoyed "The Can" a lot. It felt like a very ramped up in speed version of WH's Sinful!
the ring and laces trick made my jaw drop!!! so good!!
You are telling me my home city holds the largest magic festival and I NEVER knew about this?! Already have a reminder next year to buy tickets. Would love to shake your hand and thank you for continuing my curiosity in magic, even though I do not perform tricks. I love your content
🤝
This is all so insane! The wonder I feel watching this - a child-like wonder - is just priceless! I wish I could see a real life close up magician performing. It is my dream!
Lol, the opening city shot was of Cleveland...Just a heads up
hahah oh snap dont kill me im from Canada
@@ChrisRamsay52 I'm sure most people won't notice the difference. I happen to be from a suburb of Cleveland. But, those were great shots of Downtown! lol P.S. I have two bricks out for delivery today! Blue and Red. Stoked! Great Video also.
14:50 I laughed out loud bigtime, thanks for that!! 😆
Hey Chris! Thanks for an amazing video like always :) Really look up to you!
Can you share a link or the name of the matchbox / matchsticks effect?
OMG 15:41 is the PMCM from the Paul Harris book! That's crazy - Harris thought it impossible!
Thanks for sharing! That shoelace trick was insane. I was smiling like an idiot watching that.
This is laced up by Donnovan Mount.
@@CaptainNematode Yeah... they _did_ say his name in the video.
14:30 the kid got the chops, so happy to see kids being that good
Great video! Gonna try and make it up there next year!
I've always been a fan of Pavel's walking knot, the shoelace trick reminds me of it but in a close up context. Its a great effect
This is laced up by Donnovan Mount.
Thanks for sharing the dealers room with us! Good times! 👍🏼
Oh wow caught this video early!!! This man shares my fav things .. magic and puzzles loving it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just an awesome video, felt like I was there. Can’t wait for upcoming BoB episodes with the legends!
Us too!
I live in Columbus and I didn't know this was a thing! I'll have to go to this next year.
Absolutely love this content bro. Only can travel there through these vids. Peace.
Wonderful video! You captured the magic of MagiFest!
A magic convention good stuff 👌👌 Ramsey
Wow! Fantastic magic convention!!! 🤯🤩
That shoelace trick? Omg! Its been a while since a trick felt this magical to me. OMG.
It was great seeing you again! Hope you had some fun!
I love these convention videos ❤
The laces.. had my head in my hands xxxxxxx
Love watching these every year. Where can I buy those magifest cards?
Laces trick was awesome !
Great video 📹 👍
What is the technique Kevin Kapinos did?
Eric Taits harmonica card thing was my favourite 😂 is that like a release?
looks awesome - wish I had gone this year !!!
This was so much fun to watch. I’m going to my first Magic convention soon!
Dude! Mark Mason! God I miss him since he left Blackpool. I don’t get to conventions much these days but was a regular at BPool for 15 years or so. Great video mate 🤙🏻
Really fun video. Reminds me of your Reddit watch sessions but here you get the interaction in person which is so much better.
As a boy scout the ropes was a square know witch can be tied by doing right end over left pull then left end over right pull
I met Chris very briefly and he was super dope! Thanks for keeping magic alive!
Magic brings the kid out no matter how old you are! Thank you man for these videos
thanks for covering this! love this! whaaat!?
Great vid! Also, the city you showed at the beginning of the video isn’t Columbus, it’s Cleveland. About 2 hours north of Cbus. 😆
I really liked the one with the dices and match boxes. I was expecting 3 dices, but not another 3 red ones and definitely not 3 green ones.
Chris always dropping the best Content!
Those 2nd Bicycle cards were probably a major highlight for Wes.
I love these! That Can is beautiful!
Best video of 2023 so far. 👌
This was a Lovely piece of work. Great video, so much inspiration and great vibes here. Great work like always Mr. Ramsay ( Silent Golf Clap )
Glad you enjoyed it!
He check out a lil east of Columbus in Berlin Ohio is a old school magic theater/shop the guy is super fun and helpful , Catalpa Trading Co. went there to find sum stuff my 6 year old could do and learn , and kinda got me interested in magic, a few you tube videos later I found u !
love these videos so much!
that poor guy you made so nervous, his hands were shaking @10:52 but so smooth with the routine.
"and you can hand this out" lol😂
Though we didn't get a chance to meet personally, I was wonderful to see you at Magifest. I hope you had fun. 🙂
best trick was at the 30 second mark...drone footage of Cleveland for a Columbus event, lol!
Going to be 100% honest but I don't think I've ever looked at magic this way and I have never thought that it would be this freaking cool.
Where can i get a set of the convention deck looks great?
I love these videos every year 👍
A room full of talented people right there… Wow!
Can’t wait for th e new BoB to come out. Great one ~Smile oN
ok...this is all BRILLIANT. clearly its witchcraft and some harry potter spells n sh%t. the dice box guy blew me away. THANKS!
I loved Mark Mason's stuff too tbh!
That steal from 15.06...that was smooth!
Honest question, I am trying to learn sleight of hand. Is it better to start with coins or cards? Thanks!
I just like to imagine all these people are just actual wizards.
I like the can trick and ring on shoe lace.
