Everything in Leavenworth, Washington is beautifully decorated with Christmasy lights, ornaments, etc. There’s even a nice German town that looks like a Bavarian village! That is gorgeous! We went there to the Christmas tree lighting festival, and it was amazing!

I am from germany and this is really amazing how it looks like a bavarian town. Love all the christmas lights. unfortunately you dont see many christmas lights in german towns today
Oh no is that true ? I visited my cousin in a town near Dusseldorf about 2 years ago and that christmas was so special for me ! I always try and keep that feeling on Christmas while in the UK by buying a tonne of deserts and watching these clips lol I hope Germany doesnt become like us !!

Great production. We live here, and agree. The video captured the spirit well. Leavenworth is a pretty magical place in the winter, to visit or live. And every season brings a whole new set of exceptional and world class experiences.

My kids will always remember Christmas’s in Leavenworth. They are grown with their own kids now and still love Leavenworth.
Wow, this is Super Gorgeous!!! I visited Leavenworth last Sept 2022, it's one of the loveliest places I have ever seen. From the streets to shops and restaurants, delicious food and yummy German Pastries 😋
And the friendly folks with their dogs everywhere 😍 I loved it! Merry Christmas to everyone and a Blessed, Healthy and Happy 2024 🤗

The entire Christmas lighting ceremony has changed. They have taken the specialness out of Leavenworth Christmas. The new Leavenworth mayor is a liberal douchebag.
@@lfischer8380 … It’s probably changed because of the pandemic, it won’t be permanent.. They still light the place up they just don’t don’t have the ceremony where everyone gathers close together… And why do you need to bring politics into it ?

I go there every year for my grandma and grandpas birthday December 27 and 28th. It's a tradition. I have so many amazing memories with my grandma and grandpa (papa) there. My papa would be turning 62. But on September 20th he got admitted into the hospital right after coming back from Puerto Rico. He stayed at the hospital and he was stable. 13 days later on October 3rd, all of my family gathered around him to say goodbye for the last time. He is now in a better place. We are still going to Leavenworth Washington this year (2018) But it will never be the same without my amazing Grandfather. I love you papa. Rest In Peace. 💖✝. And thank you Leavenworth Washington for making his last few Christmas's/ birthday's the time of his life.✝

Beautifulness! That’s the perfect word to describe this miraculous place of beauty. Due to my vision loss, I thought it a perfect painting in the beginning. Then the people appeared and tears of joy warmed my cheeks as I watched them walking through the snow from one building to the next, up the street on the other side. Such a beautiful sight to behold! Isn’t it amazing how such cold weather can warm a body states away, sitting alone on a cold winter night? Love really does conquer all. Please pardon typos due to vision and tremors from me having Parkinson’s, but it doesn’t have me. GBU all with a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.🎈

Plan for weekday evenings. December weekend crowds are insane: thousands of people literally shoulder-to-shoulder on the streets outside the tree lighting.

This place is Beautiful; I went there yesterday. Please plan for TONS of people, finding and paying for parking, and waiting in line for 30+ minutes to get any kind of food/drink. Sadly, it has become quite the tourist trap over the past years.
Or happily depending on how you look at it. It wouldn't be a town at all if they didn't pivot and make it a tourist trap.

That place is absolutely amazing ive been there 4 times once with my family and other times with my family and my moms its pretty full most of the time and this year it didn’t snow as much as other times which made me sad :(
