Jay grew up in the 90s. So he said in a BTS vid that he loves and still listens to 90s R&B. So he wanted the song and video to have that feel. It did take me back. Great song and great review fellas.

I think Korea is actually cool w/ Jay (at least the 15 to 40 year-old crowd). His American sensibilities and tattoos may not be for the more conservative crowd in Korea though. I think it's mostly just international fans/ newer K-Pop fans (the ones who only found out about it in the past 6-8 years) but most of the hate towards Jay are from international fans from what I've seen.

I've always felt like Jay Parks was on a totally different level. For me personally I never consider his style of music to really be K-pop. he sound has always had a more R&B sound. sometimes even some Hip Hop.

Loved the reaction and I can't how many potential all time collaborations we missed out in Kpop due to obsessive fandoms. Also another factor could be companies not wanting their idols to collab with idols from rivals. Real shame but I feel things are changing. Just VERY slowly....

The song is great and Jay Park looks amazing! But to be honest, I would have been alright without the females part. It has nothing to do with being "jealous" either! I tend to not like features on artist music, no matter who is featured or their sex. Sorry, y'all, that's just me. Overall though its a great MV and song!
