This video was definitely 2001, as the AC/Canadian 744 wouldn’t have been painted that way in 1999. The Biman DC10 (in the CP livery) would have still been flying for Canadian in 1999. Plus, the BA B777 in the current scheme is G-YMMN, which was built in 2001. Awesome video though, with such an amazing variety of aircraft!
I’ve been to Heathrow once in 2003 and the diversity of planes and airliners was amazing. I mainly wanted to go see 747’s haha 😂 I was only 10. It was the best day ever! Lovely weather and the visitor centre was open. Seems a bit dull now it’s mainly twin jets there now. Nevermind

I watched a few at Manchester airport a couple of years ago and the planes were way too quiet and dull to look at. I wasn’t very impressed. At least I got to sit in an original Concorde though which is a wonder piece of engineering.

Yeah! They’ve pretty much been replaced by the Airbus A380…. Funny enough I never see any of those here in South Africa and yet they seem to be quite common abroad.
This must, I think, be 2001 as the bmi branding had just replaced British Midland on the 737 at6:55, and Swissair was still going (it folded in 2002). The old Ghana Airways DC-10 Still going ... And a Virgin 747-200. And BA's first 777s (6:00)must have been the last to carry Landor livery, as they were delivered just before the controversial World Images was introduced

It's safe to say that the "Chatham Dockyard" BA livery has been in use for the longest of all the BA liveries, a little over 2 decades now. Also, the Project Utopia/World Tails liveries are absolutely wonderful. Disgusting how some ethnocentric Brits pooh-poohed it and subsequently twisted BA's arms to change it.
Think I flew on that BA a320 to Berlin a few weeks ago. Makes you realise just how long some of these carriers have had the same livery for, personally I liked the varied BA tail design, Margaret Thatcher wasn't a fan though.
I said it before, I will say it again, but I loved the Project Utopia tails of British Airways and wish they'd have stuck with them for longer. Or made Chelsea Rose their final new tail design. I think the current BA Tail Design is lowkey boring.
