First 12 years of my life I was a social butterfly, always engaging in conversations and loved socializing. Middle school all the way through high school my desire to socialize started to diminish, shortening my social status to a small social group with 2 best friends. After highschool I started to stop talking with my 2 closest friends and felt that need to be alone. Already feeling that call from Rahu telling me to be more individualistic. Yeah this is so accurate.. I had low self esteem.. I used to do what others usually do.. Then i would sit alone and think that's not what I wanted..After all of this years i finally started to express my individuality. And it's fine to be different and it feels great too. Wow that was so great. I have this Rahu Ketu in my D-10 dashamsha chart which I heard kicks in over 40 more & I'm 46. So I've been pursuing acting as my dream but got sidetracked and I definitely have the problems you mentioned. I didn't know that about the 11th house groups issue & I feel social pressure all the time, and family against acting & friends roll eyes. I've definitely pulled way back the past couple years. I don't have kids because I have Ketu in my 5th house in D-1 birth chart. Weird how it switches for the success chart. I really need to develop more self esteem & not care what people think.

I have Rahu in Leo in the 11th house. When I was about 3 I used to say "when I was big / adult" I was a famous singer / star :D Up to age approx 28 it was a struggle to be social. Now that I am 33, I feel I have a great number of friends and easily mingle in and in fact feel a need to stand out and be more individualistic. Thank you for this video. Hi Ritamay G, I did think about doing that. One reiki master told me I don't need to do the regression. I, however, keep wondering where that strong belief when I was a child came from. Eventually, and at the right time, I will try the regression. In fact, now I am cross-roads when I need to change what I do in life. Rahu and Ketu are very differenet--they are the north and south nodes of the intersection of the Moon's ecliptic with the Sun's one. They can fall in any house or sign but always at 180 degree away again.
my son has this position Ke in 11th and RA in 5th he has hard time making friends no one understands him because he has a speech problem but he is a great artist he draws like its an addiction hes gotten awards at school from it and only 8 he loves to wear suits and ties I get frustrated sometimes because he might ruin his suits and then he will get a long sleeve shirt and a collared shirt with a tie and he tells me hes wearing a suit he wants to be noticed he wants to be a man as he says :-)

I think I AM currently in the breakdown stage isolating myself from my friends more than I ever have before because I don't feel validated by my own Friends anymore. Its true that I just I don't feel accepted. Things are getting better SLOWLY in that I am able to focus more on myself and who I am and want to be through new decisions I am making... I am currently 20 y/o. For most of my youth I remember not wanting to stand out and being insecure and relying on my friends alot and such... It was during these almost 2-3 years after graduating highschool of slowly isolating myself from friends that I realized my natural desire to stand out and be different... I always wanted to hide before but now I know I have more confidence... I just hope I'm making the right decisions.

What I cannot understand is what happens when the sign in the 5th house doesn't match this house. For example, how does a North Node in the 5th house BUT in Aquarius (instead of Leo) can be read? I'm finding conflicting information and it's all a one big mess =(

Just a little question out of curiosity. North Node in 5th house in Aquarius (traditionally not a very fertile sign) would still indicate the possibility of children?
In my humble opinion I would see it that way since 5th house = children, but I'm not sure whether the sign of that house would affect fertility. Anyway, you're the Expert.

hi Tatacchan, Rahu is a fertile planet even if Aqua is not. Rahu can delay the coming of children but it tends to give more than one usually.

I have north node in gemini in 5th.. but i feel i have no problem with not conforming.. i think my issues is more me finding my own idenity.. and the thought of being famous or well known scares me.. i really don't want to be in the spotlight.. i rather be not seen at all.. i think that is the problem of my 5th house.. but i have no problem with not conforming.. i will never follow or be part of the crowd unless its honest and sincere.. (Probably all my uranus squares in my chart)
the north node isn't something you really end up being comfortable with. the south node is your comfort zone, but the north node is where you'll be truly happy. you don't have to be famous with lots of spot lights or whatever but perhaps simply recognized by the mass or so.

I was going to ask the same question, only opposite. My NN is in Leo in the Eleventh house. But I am not sure this person is correct in her response. In her caption on the video above she wrote "Always start with the house position because it is the more acute one..." What does that even mean? Did she mean to write "accurate," not "acute"?

Hmmm...I did the birthchart at astrolada.com and it's totally different from other vedic charts.It mostly mirrors my western chart with Ascendant in Scorpio while other vedic charts say I have Asc in Libra.

Hi! I'm a little bit confused. I used your birth chart calculator and it says that I have Rahu in the V house (in Aquarius) and Ketu in the XI house (in Leo). Ketu is MC and Rahu is IC, right? The thing is, when I use different (western) birth chart calculators (astro.com, for example) I have MC in the 10th house (logical) in Leo and IC in the 4th house in Aquarius. I'm confused :s
Ketu and Rahu (they are the north and south lunar nodes) are completely different from the MC and IC (they are angles).

It means it affect the cusps of all 3 houses! But for most powerful influence check the house cusp closest to Ketu and also the whole sign from Ascendant Ketu falls in, that is the ancient house system

actually just listen to the house position, not the sign. The sign is teh same for everyone born during your generation, but the house position is unique for you and specific
