Haven't seen a studio bleed so much passion and inspiration into a project for a hot minute. Finished the game and was like "holy shit. this is ART"
I desperately hope this studio does more with the IP and gameplay, because it's the best thing to come out in recent memory.

Soilwork underrated? I mean most if not all aged like milk over the years, soilwork, sonic syndicate, the unguided, in flames, scar symmetry, all those melodic death metal bands.
I used to listen to them when i was 16 on a daily basis but they where just a product of their time and never managed to adapt so somewhat modern times. But that is just my humble opinion.

I love that later levels get *faster*, not just to ramp up the music, but the gameplay as well. Ramps up the challenge and the feeling of exhilaration when everything's on point, and literally scales how fast you clear through enemies too so you feel more capable, all without any need to scale damage numbers.
I noticed that, as well. Although Acheron felt surprisingly slower, especially after the Nihil's Dissolution.
They probably slowed down Acheron to make up for one specific gimmick of that particular level.

Due to a softlock during the boss fight in Nihil, I had to replay this stage multiple times and I started loving this song a little more every time I heard it
I got that soft lock too. Thankfully only once.
I never played the game, just discovered this song recently....and holy fucking shit - I've been playing it on repeat for a week. Its just so dam GOOD. Quickly becoming one of my all time favs.

i came to this came thinking nothing will beat stygia in terms of being catchy but after playing this level, now its my favourite track

One of my favourites from the game, with Stygia. Love playing the Nihil level, although it's strangely one of the shorter levels lol.
I would say it is the most intense level in the game because it's so fast paced, not to mention the boss sequence was chaotic af.

Best soundtrack for the Hounds. Song tempo fits it's rate of fire and the pistols sound effect compliment the song, especially the chorus. Soundtracks and guns have their own symbiosis as Paz would say... probably.
With ghost rounds the crossbow can be fired rapidly 10 times in a row. Makes the drop go CRAZY
Every song is the best song for the Hounds. Got to be my favorite weapon to use in any game I've played.

Now my doc told me to listen to relaxing music, and I started trying to listen to stuff like Micheal Buble and that lovely Hawaiian man who sang over the rainbow.
