- I'm so stoked about this, after riding Ben's 27.5 inch wheel enduro bike at Revolution Bike Park, I realised that a smaller, shorter and more playful trail bike would be perfect for me to ride my local bike park jumps as well as the big freeride tracks around the UK. I decided to use Marin's Rift Zone 27.5 and Brink bike shop have helped me transform and upgrade this dreambuild bike into the ultimate slopestyle enduro machine ready for tricks, jibs and downhill sessions - using a few mtb hacks like the single speed kit. I'm stoked on it!

SO sick that you’re getting your dream hardtail back in business. It’s such a sick bike and I love my san Quentin to.
I'd love to see you on an actual slope bike like a blkmrkt killswitch or a trek ticket s but i doubt Marin would ever do that 100mm front and rear with options to go up to 130 basically what you just built but actually built for the purpose and feels more like a dj bike

Personally I’d say don’t change the öhlins decals, they match the lettering on the frame nicely.

Nice build but I was thinking this would be one of those Rampage frankenbikes (26"/27.5" mullet with a dual crown fork).

They make actual "jockey wheel" chain tensioners for through axel single speed conversions. It's lighter and less complicated and, more inexpensive than modifying a derailer.

I have never ridden enduro bike ever, but I did purchase a San Quentin 2 2022 in California, and although I still see it as a trail hardtail. So I am new to Marin, but more importantly the San Quentin bike what is built for specifically.

You gotta get one of those hallow compression bolts to put your front hose through the steer tube to get it out of the way for your spins.
I had a preview of the 2022 Marin bikes, and guys the new Alcatraz frame(s) ;)) are insanely sick.
I'm 6'2 and run a size large 140mm travel 27.5. it is perfect for everything.

I had to add spacers to my stock width bars. They’re 815 with the spacers! Such a better feel though (I’m 6’5” or 1.96m tall) and it has made all the difference in my downhill confidence.
What spacers do you use
