The Prince of Egypt is so criminally underrated. It’s such an amazing movie. I’ve never felt so attached to a movie even though I’m not even Christian. I just love the visuals, character designs, developments, songs, and the storyline. It’s one of DreamWorks’ older movies, but please give it a watch. You will not be disappointed:3
What about Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron? That should‘ve been in this list.
Disney: i have Pixar
Dreamworks: we have HTTYD and shrek
Universal pictures own dream8
DreamWorks also had PDI.
I wish shrek was popular than httyd since its older than every other cgi movie dreamworks made sure ants is older than shrek but common
Mustiboi Salman
I have Edit it Now :3
Which is why I like DreamWorks more
Dreamworks has such classics. Over the hedge, shark tale, shrek, Kung fu panda, flushed away, Madagascar, how to train your dragon, so many more
PRINCE OF EGYPTTTT
Not shark tale
HHTYD!
Megamind..
HTTYD 2 IS THE BEST
"Number NINE: *The Prince of Egypt."*
Ok, I'm leaving, this list can't be taken seriously.
It really can't be I thought they were doing there early previews that they normally do in the beginning of their videos but after seeing it was actual I didn't finish the video haha
@Eciruam Naes it’s a great movie it deserves at the bare minimum to be in the top 3
@Eciruam Naes true true
The Prince of Egypt is EASILY the best dream works movie, and one of the best in animation if not the best.
Meanwhile Antz is number 5. I don’t take this list serious
It is a fucking crime that The Prince of Egypt isn't higher on this list.
That movie is an animated masterpiece, religion aside. Just watch it as a film and pretend the religious aspect isn't connected to the real world if that's the part that throws you off. This movie is SO GOOD.
Gia Williams it's kinda underrated. It was a success at the box office and won the Oscar for Best Original Song, but it lost it's popularity over the years.
It's fucking tragic.
Religion is a big part of the movie though. However I understand what u mean
i feel your pain ;-;
Wtf where is Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron? That's a classic and one of the best Dreamwork animation ever
Thank you! Someone is with me on this one.
Thanks. Not only me here.
I only clicked on the video to see if WM would at least mention it. For me, Spirit would be #1.
TN Dang no spirit? well then no point i watching this. thanks for saving me time
Take off over the hedge move up prince of Egypt. Spirits music alone is amazing. It's a masterpiece
The Prince of Egypt should be MUCH higher
OMG YESS I AGREE!!

I feel like Flushed Away deserves Over the hedge's place. It is very underrated!
not really, the slapstick humor in Over the Hedge is what got me. Beautifully and funnily animated
Katie Ruby agreed
Katie Ruby Half the honorable mentions could've taken Over the Hedges place
Nirvashv7 Right?
Agreed
Shrek is kindness, Shrek is Truth, Shrek is compassion, Shrek is love, Shrek is life...
Cameron Lavelle no
Cameron Lavelle shrek is love, shrek is life
Cameron Lavelle Why does everyone have to reference to that inappropriate video " Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life"?!? It hasn't gotten a very good impact on life, and it sucks. Someone needs to delete it from CZcams!!!!!!
Imani Hart 3 words: DEAL WITH IT
Commander Gree Oh Please!!!!! Deal with the fact that Shrek is not love, and Shrek is not life!!!! Then I'll deal with it!!!!!
How to train your dragon is high key the best dreamworks movie. The characters literally grow so much and even tho hiccup and astrid love each other they still have difficulties like any other couple but get through it together, same with their crew. They even grew up together. There’s just so much to learn from it.
Mustiboi Salman wdym?
Agreed. I wish that people could voice their opinions about this gem of a franchise without focusing constantly on their personal downsides.
ever heard of prince of Egypt
Would be better is Shreck the 5th was at number one
Nah the best is princw of egypt
The Prince of Egypt being 9 and NOT 1 is literally blasphemy!
Well, to be fair, it’s kind of forgotten. I didn’t even know about it until recently.
@@mariobroultimate1808 It is forgotten and that is such a sad shame! It's a masterpiece!
May only be relevant to christians, muslims and jews, because the original source material is from the scriptures

The Prince of Egypt is an underrated masterpiece! I'd personally put it higher on the list. And swap Over the Hedge and The Road to El Dorado with Megamind and Monsters VS Aliens
Matt Thornton I agree with the first statement, though I don't agree the others. Both Over the Hedge and Road to El Dorado (music by Elton John and Tim Rice, dude) were great films in their own right. Megamind was good yes, though I found Monsters VS. Aliens pretty stupid.

Over The Hedge, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon are some of my personal favorites. But if I had to pick one for a number 1 spot, Kung Fu Panda would be it.
Kung Fu Panda is my number one baby !!
The soundtrack, animation, voice acting, story, and sound choices MADE Prince of Egypt. That movie is good, so good you don’t have to be “religious” to enjoy it.
Slimy Boy IKR!!!!!! They had Sandra Bullock, Ralph Fiennes, and Val Kilmer, but I feel like at the time DreamWorks was overshadowed by Disney and no one really knew about PoE
Watchmojo: Do you agree with our list?
Me: No!
Number 10, 2, and 1.
Shrek is far more successful than HTTYD
AMMTheShape Myers I agree, while I agree with most of the movies on the list they didn't put down my all time favorite movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron! Is my favorite film SERIOUSLY that underrated? It DESERVES TO BE SEEN!
AMMTheShape Myers Although Shrek did win the Oscar for best Animated Feature, the overall fame with Shrek is not the movie itself, but the characters and the pop culture following. On top of that, many people see it as a rip off or a parody comedy, if you take into account the fact that the idea of mixing fairy tales is overly done. However, the HTTYD movies are masterpieces. Even though neither has won the Oscar, they have both gotten nominated (many complain they didn't win because they've been released the same years as Disney movies, and those win most of the times). In addition to that, they have amazing original scores, they're well-written, have a very unique story line, and the animators took great pride in making these one of a kind. I have the concept art books for many of these DreamWorks movies, and I can easily say that the HTTYD movies are movies that contain lofty amounts of research, great attention to detail and art, and there's just very little wrong with these movies. They hit very close to the heart, and the animators made sure of that.
When it comes to movie critics, they will choose HTTYD over Shrek simply because it's the complete package.
Plus remember, dramas almost always win over comedies.
Gabriela Marie But they also said that they made their decisions based on commercial and critical success and while HTTYD had critical success it didn't have AS MUCH commercial success as Shrek as Shrek made more money and won awards whereas HTTYD didn't win any or make as much money.
I don't have to be religious to see that The Prince of Egypt is a masterpiece. The animation and soundtrack are beautiful, and it's something I go back to watch every now and then.
No it isnt

Prince of Egypt #9? Terrible. It's one of the most beautiful and amazing animated films. I feel like it's so low on the list because it isn't as popular today.
Or because it's religious
You didn't even mention Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron! It's my all time favorite and a seriously beautiful and underrated film! I can't believe you didn't even have it as an honorable mention!?
Mine too. I watched that WAY too many times as a kid, and I regret nothing
I first saw it when I was a baby, maybe between it first coming out and 2003, and went about 12 years without watching it, but when I found the DVD this summer and watched it again, I still remembered the songs and the plot. It's a very memorable film if you got to grow up with it.
When my brother was a kid he would watch it over and over again. It was his favorite movie
I know! It always makes me cry, I don't even know why, it just does
***** It was far more than just decent! It was one of the most beautiful, thoughtful and emotional animated films ever made! Not to mention that it's the only one with horses as the central focus and the only animated, animal-centric film where the animals don't actually talk!

Can't believe you only gave Monsters vs. Aliens an Honorable Mention! Seriously?! SERIOUSLY?!?!!!! The animation in that movie was amazing! There were many times I wasn't certain if I was seeing animation or live action. Then you had some of the most incredible actors lending their voices to the film: the bubbly Reese Witherspoon, the hilarious Seth Rogan and Will Arnett, and most of all, the venerable and magnificent Hugh Laurie, playing Dr. Cockroach! Not to mention Kiefer Sutherland as the General! A fantastic cast, a brilliantly edited movie, and a plot that was funny as anything-- I am actually really hurt that this wasn't on the list, let alone at number 1, with Shrek at #2.
Seriously? Prince of Egypt is only #9? That movie is a work of art, and easily dreamworks best and most serious masterpiece
It appears your missing one: Spirit: Stallion of the cimarron.

I really think that the original Madagascar is better than 3
Hell yeah, the first is and will always be the best movie of the whole franchise.
I thought the third one was great but no, it was not better than the first one.
All are best in different way
I think the first was great fun, I thought the second film sucked, and I thought the third was fine.
I'm gonna have to disagree with that, to me at least, the First Madagascar was fantastic and introduced the entire crew of characters, but the 3rd one was just filled with so much more fun, excitement, development, and more beauty than any of the other movies from before, but again that's just the way I see it.
Over the hedge is one of the most slept on movies that in my opinion deserves a sequel
What about Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron? That should‘ve been in this list.
"The Croods" had a surprisingly good story along with some of the most breathtaking animation dreamworks ever gave us and it was not even in the honorable mentions TT

Kung Fu Panda (1)
Rise of the Guardians
I have yet to see KFP3, but I plan to see it very soon. My list may or may not change after I see it.
The Prince of Egypt should have been higher on this list
A.J Taylor yeh
A.J Taylor I’m just happy Prince of Egypt is even on the list.
No I disagree. Because it lacks one very important thing. They took an already known and multiply retold story and just did their take on it. Yes it was an amazing one, with outstanding animation and great storrytelling but its still not an original idea like the others
Its amazing cause it has Patrick Stewart in it :P
Agreed. Many enjoyed the movie even those who were not religious
My top 10:
10. Megamind
9. The Prince of Egypt
8. How to Train Your Dragon 2
7. Kung Fu Panda 2
6. Chicken Run
5. How to Train Your Dragon
4. Shrek
3. Flushed Away
2. Shrek 2
1. The Road to El Dorado
The how to train your dragon movies and franchises were by far my most favorites
Sherk is the best dreamwork movie.
Shrek 2, to be specific 😉
Sonic Warrior HECK YEAH!
Sonic Warrior tru
***** Those were pretty good, but I prefer Shrek 2.
*****
Nah, it's cool, we all have our opinions 😌
What about Spirirt?
Wouldve been my number 1
Yes
Spirit is the Treasure Planet of DreamWorks movies. Great animation, good cast, but for some reason, forgotten by many, even though it's one of the ones that people recall with fond memories
@General Grievous I've never been with a single person that has remembered spirit without me bringing it up. Nobody remembers it, making it very similar to treasure planet. Leaving out the biased part of the argument
TOP 20 FOR SURE & TOP 15 ON MY LIST....
My Top 5 Best DreamWorks Movies of All Time!
#5. The Road to El Dorado
#4. The Prince of Egypt
#3. Shrek & Shrek 2
#2. Kung Fu Panda Trilogy
#1. How to Train Your Dragon Trilogy
Over the Hedge: not bad (like RJ the raccoon and Hammy the squirrel)
Madagascar, or even, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted - *Better*
But *_Shrek_*_ (2001)_ BEST!
I think Peabody and Sherman was a criminally underrated movie
Same with their 2-d stuff and over the hedge
I knew HTTYD is #1
Out of all the Dreamworks Animated films, it did get the highest score on Rotten Tomatoes. It got 98% on RT.

How to train your dragon!!!123(Race of the edge)
#HttydBest
#HttydForever
It's actually Race to the Edge. There's two more if I'm not mistaken. Defenders of Berk and Riders of Berk
I love how to train your dragon it's my favourite trilogy of all time
I'm happy that Rise of the Guardians at least got Honorable Mentions and that How to Train Your Dragon in #1
Megamind is underrated...
When it first came out it was very overrated but then turned to be underrated. Sadly I haven't seen it on TV for a while.
I fucking love Megamind! I want Megamind 2!
Just imagine Megamind is now the new hero of Metro City until he suddenly disappears. Eight years later, Metro Man's music career is failing after all the chaos going on in Metro City all because of an evil mastermind. Metro Man finds Megamind and tells him to come back to protect the city again. Megamind returns to defeat the evil mastermind before he destroys the whole city with a bomb.
Oh wait, that was sort of the plot to The Dark Knight Rises but it'd still be awesome.
FIFAFever Megamind leaving wouldnt make sense.
I totally agree Megamind is my all time favourite animation movie
That movie sucks
My personal favorite's are How to Train your Dragon(1 and 2), Spirit, Puss in Boot's, The Croods and Rise of the Guardians
Yaaaas. RISE OF THE GUARDIANSSSSSS
Flushed Away is my favorite! Creative, hilarious, great subtle references, spectacular voice cast. Underrated for sure
