To any olive skinned peeps out there: gone greige is the BEST cream blush! it really works well, cancelling out with the green undertones to become way more neutral than you think it would be 🤗

I’m intrigued!!! I have a TAN OLIVE skin & I’m so tired of not having a flattering makeup, I keep wearing berry lipstick on my cheeks & the essence blush “the blush in 20 bespoke” as my sun kissed nude blush !!!

I’m not sure how wearable gone griege actually is. I keep falling in love with the colors you wear because they look incredible on you, and we’re so similar in coloring, but alas, gone Greige makes me look like a corpse 🤷♀️ I recently decluttered a bunch of gorgeous stuff I bought that you recommended because I had to admit that I am a spring 🌸😩😭 It was very sad, but I am going to try to remind myself that It’s okay to buy colors for the face I have rather than the face I want.
Makes sense… Hannah seems to be more of a summer. I thought I was a winter and the greigey type lip pies looked good on me but I’m actually an autumn so no dice 😢
It's so interesting that you found many lovely brown lipsticks at the drugstore. In my mind this is a more difficult colour to make wearable (as opposed to pink and red) so I would have expected that going with a high end brand would be easier/safer and that one would find more sophisticated colour from those brands. Just an example of how you can find great things at the drugstore if you search for them.
This is one thing that really annoys me - here in Germany, drugstores never have the whole shade range available for both Maybelline and L'Oreal. So of course, it's always the cool grungy brown tones they clip, and they keep all the boring pinky nudes and reds.
Saw a whole lot of the Elf cream face palette for $2 at TJ Maxx recently and thought of you. I bought one on your recommendation, shortly after you reviewed it, and absolutely agree it is great. I reach for it still. 👏🏻

I got that elf cheek pallet as a free gift with purchase like 1½-2 years ago. I was also shocked by how good it was and how well the colors worked, I thought the highlight would be too light and the blush too pigmented. But it's so perfect especially for fall.
Ever since I first learned about that palette (here on Hannah’s channel of course) I have looked for it EVERYWHERE! Target, CVS, Walgreens…heck, I even made a special wal mart trip while I was visiting my parents in a small town. No luck. I’m so sad it’s not available because I have wanted to try it for so long.
I think Canmake came up with a new shade, cinnamon milk tea, that seems really perfect! It’s a light brown beige shade and I’m super tempted
Because of your glowing reviews I bought a Canmake cream cheek at the Asian supermarket here in Seattle and I absolutely love it! The packaging reminds me of something I would have treasured as a child (and I mean that as a compliment). I have oily skin so I like to set it with a powder blush in a similar color and it works super well!
I also tried the canmake and it's the first check product I have ever panned. I am NC37 and shade 19 is the most delicious barely there shade ever. Also, don't ignore the little powder blushes... Swatch them if you can..🤯

Yes, Flower Beauty's Desert Lights is one of thr best eyeshadow formulas out there. I recently bought and reviewed the new Desert Lights and I found the formula to be the same creamy, buttery high shine and opaque formula. Thanks Hannah! 😊

The Revlon and Maybelline lipstick formulas are some of my favorites. A lot of my best eyeliners have been Milani, but it seems like they've gone through a lot of formula/line changes, so I never know what's still available. But if you see a black "kohl kajal" of theirs with a gold cap, that's my best ever black liner.
I love that BB cream but I agree they should definitely expand the shade range! It’s just such a divine formula, it’s a shame not more people can try it.
lol I was just in the middle of commenting that Flower Beauty released the Desert Lights Palette and then you mentioned it. I'd love to see you do some looks with it because the colors are quite similar in the palette and I don't really know how to put them together in a cohesive look. Would be very interested in your thoughts on the color story!
On an Instagram rec, I actually tried the middle shade of purito and it somehow seems less dark and a better match for my pale skin than the lightest one.

It's nice to see Beauty CZcamsrs/Makeup Enthusiasts honestly sharing their favorite go-to drugstore products. Higher end /luxury makeup & skincare is nice but not always necessary especially when it comes to things like basic cleansers, makeup remover, eye brow pencils. brow gels, lip liners, lipstick/lipgloss, mascara & eyeliner, etc. It's good to have affordable options so you can spend more on the items where the price increase will correlate with increase in quality.
I think you would like the following products: Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish 140C, Revlon So Fierce Prismatic 936 Slight Flex and Lise Watier Base Miracle Colour Correcting Primer. Actually, I think you would love Lise Watier’s makeup collections especially the Fall Metropolis Eyeshadow Palette! They are a French-Canadian brand with exceptional quality. They do have an American site! 😉😉😉

Flower Beauty should come out with a smoky cool-toned one. That would be pretty. I love cool tones, so seeing gold and bronze and a warmer orange-red does nothing to make me or anyone else like me wanna buy. Not sure I would want to buy one anyway, but still not everyone looks good in warm tones, so they need one those who are cool-toned lovers.
They could call it Northern Lights! Cool tones with maybe a blue or green in there 💙

The colors of drug store products have done my pale self dirty so often, so I lost all faith! Appreciate your energy and all you do in the world (even the bits we don’t see, I’m sure). For low price nourishing lipsticks try the Lique brand from Kohls and the ELF hydrating core lip shine from Ulta. It’s almost exactly like the sheer lipstick except it has sort of a lip balm core
If you do another makeup hot takes video, you should look up the about-face fluid eye paints. They just released some new colors for autumn! I think you will enjoy the shade names!
Definitely try the pixi h20 skin tint! We are the same shade and it matches me extremely well and it’s an elegant formula. And it’s on the more inexpensive side
The purito bb cream is so so amazing. I love how easy it is to customize your coverage and the lasting power with a glowy finish.
The Desert Lights palette is the same formula!! I think you’ll love it because there’s a really beautiful truly neutral gold in it 😍

Love all your lip recommendations. I think you would like Loreal Seine Sunset. It’s like Mink and Rum Raisin had a baby with the slightest touch of warmth but still neutral.
A few of my Drugstore faves: L'oreal voluminous mascara (maroon is my fave), Maybelline The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara washable mascara, ELF Undereye setting powder, Maybelline Fit me finishing powder, NYX Epic Wear Liner sticks (Dupe for UD 24-7), L'oreal Matte Lip Stain in I lead (kind of a dupe for Faded Clementine)...
The ELF cheek palette is so long lasting and wonderful, didnt cost much either. It mixes well with other things too. I didnt know its not avail as I just received it about a month ago!

Love this concept! I’m currently reviewing the desert lights Palette (on insta), and the formula is the same! There’s 5 shadows that match the creamy shiny formula, and a dark brown that’s similar in texture to the green in jungle lights. The dark purple is the only one without a formula match, but that shadow is a mess so I’m kind of glad 🙈 I think you’d love it!

Oohhh your lipstick choices are all my favorites but my top right now is the maybelline ink crayon in on the grind. Very neutral. The formula is great too.
Have you tried the Revlon Glass Shine Lipsticks? I have one in the shade Black Cherry. The formula is wonderfully plush and hydrating!

My favourite affordable products are the Barry M lipliners (I think they are £2.99 or £3.99 in the UK). I must have commented this on a hundred videos! I have shades Toast, Blush, Go To, Tan, Chocolate and Mulberry. They are all spectacular and rival high end and then some. Even seen Lisa Eldridge use them. Run, don't walk 🤗🤣

I have the Milani eyeliner in the dark purple shade. It goes on great, but when I smudge it out, all of the purple disappears and it’s just a dirty gray color. Have you tried smudging the Picante? Does it stay true-to-color?

I was really surprised by the Purito CC cream. I was expecting it to be lotion-y, like a primer. It's not: it's a VERY thick, dry, occlusive foundation. The texture is most similar to dried-out toothpaste. It's so thick, dry and pasty that it's hard to blend and, no matter how little I use, it looks very artificial. It sticks to all my pores and fine hairs on the face and really makes me look like I am wearing heavy base makeup. It might be one that's better for filming than normal life. It does definitely provide coverage, though, and, since I don't have a lot of blemishes, I don't usually use fuller coverage stuff. Perhaps most fuller coverage foundations have this quality?
Iona, it sounds like you might have gotten a bad tube or something! I would never describe it as being like toothpaste. My tube is emollient and hydrating. It's full coverage, but it blends like a dream. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with it! I hope you are doing well otherwise
