A better demonstration would be to fly the car into the auto show room building. 👍🤩⭐🚙
A better demonstration would be to actually fly the car!
@@spec24 I thought it actually fly?
@@rcrotorfreak LOL!
@@rcrotorfreakin theory
😂 I would pay to see that.
Everyone would be terrified and temporarily deaf from the noise.
Wonder how many people would be injured by flying debris.
It's a gigantic drone. They play music they don't want you to know how loud it is
Imagine you're about to get pulled over by a cop, and now you have the option to just fly away lol
I know right? But then you realize you’re the only guy in town that owns a flying car so the cop just waits for you to get home. Lol
So it doesn't fly, we just imagine it does.
Its a concept
a Concept depicted in cave drawing 1 million yrs ago...and by the looks of that prototype, It will be another million years before we can fly... but surely Wilma Flintstone would prefer this lightweight model.
Another pyramidal skim to support the republican party .😮
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I invented a flying car and I’m not showing you it flying. Trust me bro.
People have a hard time merging lanes with a car, now we're gonna ask them to fly around?
Women need to stay away from these. Everytime i look to my left or right i see a woman blabbing on her phone distracted…
no way they will have people freely flying around in these. will have to be autopiloted.
Gotta make sure the women and the minorities and the elderly don’t get these or people will be dropping like flies
Beat me to it. 😂 Agree with the person who also said, women shouldn’t drive.
@@HerpaDurpVgisn’t that the truth. Black dudes in Dodge chargers are bad enough.
Dude brought a proof-of-concept video to an auto show. 😂
Looks like a good video subject for Thunderf00t to cover: “Flying Car Busted!”
Does it work though? Still no actual flight video.
Wait for the physics tech that come from all those alien craft that the U.S Gov apparently is secretly operating.
Doesn’t work. Small company without money and possibly expertise to make it happen. They talk rather than showing product working.
1950. In the future there will be flying cars. 2024: It was just a vision, I wasnt serious. Take me back to the good ol days.
Needed to show the car actually flying, not a graphic video.
This is cool. I’ve seen guys literally flying around in hammocks with drones, so this will eventually be a lot safer.
Hammocks looked safer to be fair.
@@Avenged666 I know right.
Hammocks have very little surface to be acted on by crosswinds which push off A380s off the runway.
I wonder what chance this biscuit lookalike would stand in such situations.
You won't be alive by the time it's safer
It doesn't even fly yet. The flying car has been a promise from these charlatans for over a century.
No, this will never be safe enough for general use. How are you falling for this? You actually think there is a world where people are flying around safely in personal vehicles? You know personal helicopters already exist right?
I didn't see it fly
I saw something
But it wasn't that
You saw 4 drones taped together inside a cardboard cut out of a car. A year from now he'll vanish with $1 billion of pre order cash, neither him or his flying car ever to be seen again. [edit=im only joking, early stages showing principle works]
I've known Jim for over 20 years, and he will deliver what he said he will. The pre-orders aren't fully funded, there's no money to run away with. There's nothing here that's fundamentally all that complex. Multirotor VTOL vehicles exist in many configurations - this one just puts a carbon fiber biplane and some hub motors on one. Where's the doubt coming from?
Sorry i was only joking. I think its fantastic and likes of them are needed to advance technology.@@elirc4268
@@Avenged666
😂 Vaperware at its finest
@@Avenged666 The first part was correct. A wing flies == true. Does not = People can drive on busy roads with a wing, then fly that wing in real life infrastructure!
For 200 miles of range, i would expect to see a large battery. But i don't see the battery... This seems like a dream
Its a 'concept'. The dream is this guy getting money to fund his company :)
Electric car barely make 200 miles on the ground and this guy s telling me he will do 200 miles in the air, lol i don t believe that
Well I was hoping to see this car fly. And to see what the interior looks like
Nop.
Just bs
That's because this is just another tech scam.
Interior? Don't need to interior. Look at the cool exterior. Printed on my 3D printer yesterday before the show. Just imagine the interior concept, super cool. It will fly in your dreams.
That has to be one of the coolest ones yet, but seeing how people drive on the freeways, this definitely needs to require a pilots license to fly.
Looks better than that giant taxi drone 😂
It's another personal electric quad copter. It's not really what you think of when someone says "flying car". Blade Runner, Cowboy Bebop, Star Wars, Fifth Element, those are the flying cars you think of when someone says "flying car", not an electric quadcopter that seats one person and can't really drive on a road.
Hilariously, we’ve had wing electro/manifold thrust tech since the B2 bomber, and it works best at low speeds. Can it lift something on its own? Probably not, but with some propellers you can, even with this chassis. So, ya. There is I think 3 other companies doing similar things, but using no other air flow tech besides traditional drone blades. Its funny/sad but things will change soon.
Can't have wings on a car, because you can't have a car with sharp protruding parts of a vehicle. It's all heavily regulated
@@ShunbunNoHi …..ya and? There ain’t no law saying you can’t apply it to rotary blades, not to mention jet manifolds, anything with a leading and following edge that can be directionally vectored (with heat constraints) this can be applied. Scale up or down.
The problem with their ideas of flying cars is it they still create a great wind force below them which would be uncomfortable at the least and at the most could cause physical damage to pedestrians.
Plus, if your car comes to a stop in midair it won't float. It can only fall.
Rotors are spinning wings and create lift the same way that wings do. They create a zone of high pressure air under them too but that's not necessary for them to fly. Helicopters aren't balancing precariously on top of a column of air; their rotors are pulling them upwards through the air. The same principle applies to drones but their rotors tend to be less complex. There's no reason this wouldn't be able to hover, and unless it's very close above you you won't feel much of a downdraft. I think you might be thinking of how amphibious hovercraft boats work by riding on top of a pocket of high pressure air created by fans. Helicopters / drones and hovercrafts use different principles to fly.
15:58 Showing that primitive R/C flying prototype video is a hilarious choice of marketing.
Cars are meant to be driven on the ground and not flying around in the sky. Also the maximum flight range you can go is 200 miles, 100 at the least that’s not very promising.
Dont reinvent the wheel. That’s why they have airports.
There’s enough accidents on the ground as there is,you don’t need people crashing because of this and causing a disaster or fatalities!
Haha, luckily the cieling is gonna be 500ft probably, because smaller general aviation airplanes aswell as ANY airplane doesnt go under 500ft
LOL classic.. "if man was meant to fly' 💬
Where is the power coming from? How do you turn if the wheels are in boxes? Where are the motors both for the wheels and props? Vaporware
The car doesn't move, it only flys. If you watch the video, it clearly shows a quadcopter with a car-looking-shell. There is no real car. It's a concept looking for foolish money to fund it. It is not even vaporware, sadly.
I think they need a better pitch man. Can you imagine unveiling an amazing flying car and having most people walk away when you were talking about it?
I been making my own flying cars for years now.
You should be focus on making human fly.
Spoiler alert. This company is going to be bankrupt in 6 months.
Look i have a brick that flys. But i can not show it flying today. But you can place an order if you like 🤔
People in 1900’s:we’ll have flying cars in 2023 2023: actually flying cars😂😂😂😂
I'm curious about the pitot tubes to measure wind speed and possible turbulence. Weather is very unpredictable. Overall, very, very innovating.
Cross winds will be happy 😊
Being that this car flies means that it's very lightweight. I'd like to see the crash ratings on... I highly doubt that this thing would do good in a car accident.
Aeroplanes are light weights?
This car doesn't move and it doesn't fly. It is a pretty shell. A concept. The video shows a car-like shell, not even this cool looking one, around a big quadcopter. Sadly, there is no car and no flying car either.
Looks like this could be the OceanGate of the skies.
In Detroit, watch it get stolen within the next 24 hours
Can we get flying high speed rail in the sky instead?
Those are called "planes"
@@kotakkon in no way shape or form r planes high speed rail. More like inefficient and individual train cars. But sorta clever reply.
My car always looks like it's parked too. but it's not. It's flying.
🤣🤣🤣👍
Very suitable for rushing into a building
How we're looking at an ugly early version of something that we'll perfect in the future 😢❤
can't wait to see commercial drones with this design!
Compliments from the entire Car Studio AI team. We're anticipating a bright future and the chance for business collaboration with enthusiasm.
LOL!
The elephant in the room is "noise"... Also I don't believe for a second that it will get 100 miles of flying range with actual people in it.
So its a drone with car shaped cover. 😂😂
Sorry but I would rather keep the cars on the ground. We have enough people already driving crazy and hurting others now. I don't want cars doing more harm coming from the air too.
Imagine females will be on tiktok trying to fly at the same time. Disaster
@@ExposingTheLies360and you'll still ben an Incel.
Something seems off I’ll just wait 30 years for the safe flying cars
I hope they succeed, but based on what I’ve seen to date, this going into production before 2035 is doubtful.
Scampany
Bro
A lot of these Air taxi industries showing all these promises with CGI renders but never come to light. Only company I see happening is Joby Aviation.
If flies amazing in the CEOs imagination… just like my flying car.
Not just doubtful, impossible. Not something you can drive on the road with real cars anyway.
This looks like a flying mattress.
Props (no pun intended), to this guy for having the patience to do a presentation that long with that ridiculous tire screeching sound in the background.
I don't understand - is there something I'm missing? I just see this blue object but it's not flying. Why?
You are not missing anything. It's a blue plastic shell. So nice and pretty. Nothing inside...yet. Just wait a few 10s of years and it might actually drive on the road. A few more 10s and it might actually fly. It sure is a pretty blue though.
Can't wait to invest in it
PT Barnum said ……”there is a sucker born every day” you may just be one of them!!!! Lol
Great but what’s the emergency landing procedure? What are safety flight measures?
Everyone sees this as a flying car or not a flying car, but it is a future, think humans will make better cars in the future.
They're on their way to the stars😂
Literally can not find 1 video of it actually flying
Now that it's known that we have actual alien aircrafts now we have flying cars coming out left and right😂😂
A drone with a shell then?
The base being open will allow water, dirt, mud, stones etc to get to components such as the blades etc which will cause damage.
It could have been made lighter by using the inside section of the wheels to be the blade when they are turned horizontally.
Yes, that can be done.
What if it breaks down in the air? Or can you imagine a flying car accident? Seems perfectly safe to me, good idea!
"15 minute" flight time.. (for those 15 minute cities.)
This is why you get invited but you can only show your "flying car" in the corner! This should've been a really bad rick roll!
Nope , it needs to be level and stabilize better , also it has almost no lift power ..It's just a little bunch of drone's under the frame .
Flying cars have been around since mid 90s in a lot of various forms and styles.
Some could go 20 minutes and others 90 minutes.
Some could fly and drive with various methods.
Prices ranged from 150K to 500,000K
Until prices by today's cost 2023 I mean ... to say would have to accomplish 175 miles in air travel and the ability to change a fueling/battery soure in 15 minutes to do another 17t miles and have to be able to drive on the ground from 75 to 100 miles in each energy source as well..
Be able to carry 4 passengers and language for passengers as a auto would today.
And the price would have to be out the door at 75,000 or less to become accessible to the general public
And eventually a price drop to 49K to reach a much larger population of people.
I'm sure insurance would be 500 a month or more for general coverage 🤔 and 1K a month for full coverage.
I am as sure as I can be the insurance company would require you to take a approved course by the insurance Institute of 40 hours of which 16 hours would be in air hours to limit their liability and prove you had the skills and I am just as certain the states within 2 years would require you to take a state approved test and issue a license of 100 dollars a year as its not public safety but their cash register hunger tills.
Government never let's a possible tax escape from them and this would be a gold mine to them as well as license registration fees of 100 a year.
200 a pop at 1 million in any given state
..these now a magic 🎩 200 million a year and in time it goes up in fees and more millions of new driver pilots.
😊 new photography 📸 and video would go way up and people would go where they wanted including the beach and into private areas and love to invade other people's privacy.
Government normally lags 5 to 15 years behind technology...but not when a gold mine exsists...2 years top before they jump in and say the magic words PUBLIC SAFETY demands it.
So called PUBLIC SAFETY cost tax payers many extra Trillions of dollars....vs real nessary safety which would cost 85% less of the people's dollars 😊
One would hope that some aviation training would be mandatory to ensure overall safety of operators and those on the ground.
This is new art, hundreds of years beyond our primitive Planet of the Apes technology. The innovators are bold and brilliant, but as the ol’ cowboy saying goes, “Pioneers always have a knife pointed at their backs!” They won’t be the first to the aerocar market, but definitely best design with readymade safety. GM/Ford/Stealantis ought to buy-in to this small venture and contribute to our humanity. I wish to own one someday, but I’m time-rich and cash-poor these days-
You'll have to use up all your time if you ever want to see one of these become a reality. Keep dreaming though. It's a beautiful dream.
So clever, the sides of the car are the wings . It's a bi plane, flying sideways and the cockpit is gimballed.
Be nice to be able to hover or fly over to icy roads. Worst part of winter is all the accidents and having to drive next to Semi Trucks in the einter. Scary! So looking forward to the hovering or flying cars. Not sure why they can just use highways and have cars that hover. Seems like it would be a lot less expensive.
If you guys are wondering the cars revealed at 3:25
I never saw any real demo of the car, just a discussion about the car for under 20 minutes, lastly the intro closed with saving time in traffic, and how the car will save time.
Everyone fell for his prank lol🤦🏻♂️ 🤣
There is a youtuber from germany flying a bathtub, now thats impressive
He had my investment with the video of the flying kleenex box. 🤣Now I don't have to reach across the room, it will fly to me!
Why didn't I see a flying car ? I see a car parked in that showroom 😢
Seems totally safe to me. As If driving isn’t dangerous enough..
but where to put the battery and the engine to drive at a decent speed on the road without cancelling their allowance to fly because of increase in weight, or making it unable to fly ?
Practical considerations are for losers. It will fly. Just invest already 😉
19:30 that dude got snubbed on his handshake, and held his own hands in disappointment 🥹
Where do you hook the balloons
At least he was honest but hopefully they deliver, if I was preordering I would wait and see if they deliver their promises, I wish them luck
Can they make a small scale version ? Proof of concept
Small scale does NOT prove the concept. Unless all humans and their infrastructure shrink to the size of Guinea Pigs.
A Drone that looks like a car, but you can not drive it on the street, therefore it is a simple overweigh drone that might have great drag in the air.
The cross between a hovercraft and a drone.
I can fly without a car
I was waiting for it to fly.
"What are you waiting for? - I don't know. Something amazing, I guess. Me too kid!" It would be incredible if any of this blue car flying ever happened.😁
Show! Very beautiful, well explained, but what about safety issues?
And in case of total failure. How is flight safety, passengers and other people around?
Are we going to need floating traffic lights at every altitudes once we have too many up in the air?
@xxACIDVIRUSxx
No, because there won't be any stop and go traffic with flying cars.
Mass transit?
“Highways in the sky” would f*up our skyways. A reason to say No to this.
Is it me or did I not see this car fly
Can we just get airwolf instead please?
imagine taking this to the car wash lolz
Where are the videos of the car actually flying
It might happen someday, but this is definitely not it. I smell BS.
Yeah this will never happen for the public. Only elites use "ufo" flying saucers. Imagine people flying over peoples property. People will have no privacy. Humans becoming drones. That would not be good.
Tech hype as always
Flying cars have around since the 50's. Some even made it to marlet. All the rest just collected money from investors then disappeared. That is why these companies keep popping up.
We wanna see it fly
It's the Jetsons . Prove it can fly!
Great Scott mow your going above and beyond back to the future part2
This is awesome! Let's be real here though. What are we talking for MPG? Not to mention $PG???
_Many are concerned about training the population how to fly these cars. This concern can be eliminated if they operate like drive by wire aka autopilot technology in a similar way of a tesla vehicle on autopilot. The computer will fly the vehicle not the passengers. The passengers will input an address and the computer will covert that into a coordinate and do the rest. Any malfunction will eject the safety parachute mechanism of the vehicle. Some accidents will still happen but it will still be much safer then the current way we travel with vehicles on the ground and people having personal control to drive them however they want._
How does it work under ‘engine out conditions’?
It'll need a flying tow truck! Lol😂😂
Amazing futuristic cars
im already dizzy just looking all this up ., so the driving ball rotates inside or do you drive upside down sideways ? and .just no ., no sideways with no tail ?? I . I understand the concept but tell mother momentum
Beautiful car ❤
We're in San Mateo are they located?
LALA land.
If it flies then it's not a car by Defenition.
It's an airplane with extra steps
Did i miss anything, i didn't see it fly
I'll be tempted to get one once it's powered by element 115
What in the Futurama is this?
Interesting concept.
A quad copter with a body and wheels.
