The UK's longest running club night, Back to Basics, put on an incredible show in collaboration with Opera North's 50-piece orchestra in Summer 2017. We wanted to create a piece that reflected on what Back to Basics means to people and captured the spirit and euphoria of the event which brought together people who have lived, loved and danced together at Basics over the past 25 years.
