yah, it's kind of expensive but it's still pretty much on the lower side for Honolulu. if you cannot afford then you either looking at renting just a room in a multi-bedroom unit or in your car or a tent somewhere. and don't think that if people get rid of STRs you might be able to afford those places cause those go for a few thousand minimum.
