  • This is HMP Full Sutton, one of England's few Category A high-security prisons. There are just over 200 terrorist offenders in English prisons and a number of terrorist offenders are held here. We were granted rare access inside the prison to see the measures being taken to rehabilitate terrorist offenders and stop them radicalising others.

There’s thousands of these individuals. There’s very little being done in reality.

I’m guessing it’s the same as the US. Maybe whatever region you got convicted in you get sent to a penitentiary in that region.

American spelling? I suspect not an English author. You can't deradicalise them. Send them to Allah post haste would be the best, and cheapest, solution.

Why are the terrorist inmates allowed to practise the very religion in prison that had made them terrorists?

Yet the imam trying to pull them out of the extremists mind set is also of the same religion, so use your critical thinking skills a little.

A small minority bro Islam has billions of followers if religion was the issue you would know but that is for someone who's heart is not tainted to understand

Two comments published, no comments visible. Hm.
Anyway, ‘theological intervention’ sounds somewhat ominous. I have an iota of sympathy for those Muslims being told their faith doesn’t say XYZ, often by sanctimonious western liberals, when even a cursory reading of their sacred literature says otherwise. That must be frustrating.
That said, I have respect for the seemingly well meaning imam here. He’s doing a hard job.

Everyone should read the actual scriptures and see what the book actually says.
It's a hard read cos it's not in chronology order. But it's certainly a book of two halves.

Yes, there is a reason why extremists tend to be the most ignorant of their religion, very often.

terrorists in prison have more rights than those on the outside. uk punishment isnt harsh enough. religion has done more harm to mankind than good.
