"CK3AGOT is a total conversion mod set in the world of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy saga, where lords great and small vie for control over the lands of Ice and Fire. The mod takes its name from the first book in the series, as well as the “game” of plots and politics the ambitious and hopeful are said to be playing in their struggles for supremacy."
"A Song of Ice and Fire (commonly abbreviated as ASoIaF) is an ongoing series of epic fantasy novels by American novelist and screenwriter George R. R. Martin. Martin began writing the series in 1991 and the first volume was published in 1996.
The story of A Song of Ice and Fire takes place in a fictional world, primarily on a continent called Westeros but also on a large landmass to the east, known as Essos. Most of the characters are human but as the series progresses others are introduced, such as the cold and menacing supernatural Others from the far North and fire-breathing dragons from the East, both thought to be extinct by the humans of the story. There are three principal story lines in the series: the chronicling of a dynastic civil war for control of Westeros among several competing families; the rising threat of the Others, who dwell beyond an immense wall of ice that forms Westeros' northern border; and the ambition of Daenerys Targaryen, the exiled daughter of a king who was murdered in another civil war fifteen years before, to return to Westeros and claim her rightful throne. As the series progresses, the three story lines become increasingly interwoven and dependent upon each other."
"Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin, the first of which is A Game of Thrones. Set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones has a large ensemble cast and follows several story arcs throughout the course of the show. The first major arc concerns the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros through a web of political conflicts among the noble families either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence from whoever sits on it. A second focuses on the last descendant of the realm's deposed ruling dynasty, who has been exiled to Essos and is plotting to return and reclaim the throne. The third follows the Night's Watch, a military order defending the realm against threats from beyond Westeros's northern border."
Footage from Crusader Kings 3 used under fair use.

South to north seems fun for the rest, so Dorne could be good
Great video - the Reach next would be nice
Crownlands. Get the smaller regions out of the way and those houses are minor but interesting given their history with the crown
Please do the houses of the North
The North Next please 😊
the dedication of one man to look at nonexisting castles ruled by nonexisting people from nonexisting families in a nonexisting world, talk about about them as if they were real and make an hour long video about it is truly admirable
The dedication of one boombler to watch this hour long video is also admirable
Wait until you see 40K lore videos
@@pimmpslap every fantasy world is training for 40K
As the guy who modelled both the Pyke map model and throne room, it's nice to see players appreciate them.
Woah, I'm glad you caught this video. Thanks for your great work!
House Harlaw represent! They’ve always been one of my favorite houses, gotta love Rodrik the Reader.
There are some great house words out there, but I think the most awe-inspiring one is dyn_goodbrotherCL_motto
I hope GRRM references it in winds of winter
Those words ring true even in our own world
Lonely light is so fascinating to me. Not that there’s any significance to them (mostly just clever snippets of world building by GRRM), but the idea of the most isolated people in Westeros is intriguing. Even the iron islanders are like “those guys are weird.” They claim to have found land in the uncharted west. Their words and banner are badass. Plus they gave it the ol college try in the kingsmoot. Would love to hear more about lonely light and the farwynds one day.
"A thousand years ago, or some bullshit number" xD lmaooooo that is so true with the numbers in ASOIAF
Ah, of course. How could I forget House Pisswater, noted followers of Christ.
Tell me how much you must hate your family to name them that
The thing I’m most looking forward to about ck3 agot is
- befriending Stannis and romancing Cersei as Robert
- being kinder to Tyrion as Tywin
Also playing as Euron and not fucking your brother's wife so the two of you can become the evil tag team And take one the world
I love how george wants us too see all these cultures in a mixed light and then theres the ironborn who have like 2 redeemable characters
_nods_
Yeah. And these two redeeming characters are
@@SennaHawx Asha and Rodrik Harlaw
@@sinitall
And Baelor Blacktyde😢
Well its pretty realistic when you havr such cruel culture and traditions
Hot take, but I don't think Victarion is that great of a guy.
in Crusader Kings the "Possessed" trait is more or less used to represent people who experience epileptic seizures, as in the early days of medicine people had no idea what caused them and most of the time assumed they had been possessed or "seized" by a spirit of some kind. It doesn't mean the character is literally possessed by a demon of some kind.
Robert Arryn
its funner to think they are just batshit.
If that were the case we wouldn't have possessed characters doing random crazy shit I events.
Possessed AI also randomly start plots to kill people.
The non-canon lords have randomly generated sigils because it is the way the engine for Crusader Kings works. The names come from the first names listed in the files for randomly generated houses of the culture.
Yeah I didn't realise that when I made this video
Pumped for house Uller of Hellholt in the Dorne episode. The only family that can boast being Dragonslayers. In one of the World of Ice and Fire chapters they're mentioned as having killed a dragon by shooting it in the eye with a ballista bolt. Right out of the air. They're also renowned as being batshit crazy.
Riverlands next, they have some of the most interesting houses with the most lore outside of the North
I like to believe that the crazy Farwynds actually now of a far off land where everyone would live as kings, some great island to the west that only a lost dragon queen knows about.
Can’t wait for the 12 hour version of the video when you get to The Reach.
Riverlands next, they have the best castles
Either Riverlands or the North would certainly fit after the Isles.
great job!! so excited for more of these series 🙏
Thanks! You're a real one
I noticed a lot of lions in the coat of arms of the non-canon nobles. Not that fitting, but maybe they all raided the westerlands and kidnapped some Lannisters.
I think the lion sigils are auto generated tbh
I like house Volmark, in ck2 they had a really cool whale sigil
Ironborn delenda est. Great analysis though, I would love to see you cover all of the seven kingdoms
There should be a branch of house kenning in the westerlands, and the harlaw with the peacocks are cause those are from house Serrett which there related to
props to you for undertaking this feat! Here's to easy editing and more subs! Great work my guy!
What a great little Song of ice and fire channel. Just doing a binge of you’re videos, even the HOTD reviews and think their just great. Funny and informative
Massive props guy, definitely a must subscribe if you’re a game of thrones fan
Absolutely love it. Thanks.
Fantasy Haven such a real one for uploading this
Please do more of these videos, i hoping for a whole series
This is great! I’m here for ALL houses
Both informative and hilarious
Nice video :) Learned a lot even though I read the books like 2 weeks ago
please do more of these kind of videos
Thanks for the video, helped me plan out my Euron Greyjoy campaign... Those Goodbrothers are a bit too big for their britches, basically have the two biggest+best duchies in the islands all to themselves, going to have to try to split them in two.
Riverlands next please!
I second this
If only for more house Frey content
this is good welcoming vid from you
You're the best 👍
Crownlands next!
Great video. I know this is a fantasy universe etc. But damn how did the iron islands sustain themselves during the targaryen reign without falling into absolute poverty and depopulation? I feel like they'd be real weak
They trade and farm like everybody else.
They still have plenty of the world map to raid
@@jeambeam3173 idk i always thought people like euron are the exception. Wouldn't it be way too risky and time consuming to head all the way to essos? Although if someone did manage to loot one or two ships they'd be made for life probably, considering all the expensive goods traded there
They didn't, really. It's well known for being a poor backwater where the people have had to 'downgrade' their livelihoods to mining or fishing from reaving. There's a reason there's a constant call for the return of the old way and lost glories at the kingsmoot and by Balon.
So close to 12k guys!!! Share the video with your friends!
I'm surprised you didn't make any comments about Quellon's religion, considering how weird of a concept it is
I do wish that the Greyjoys had the title of Lord Reaper of Pyke. It will probably come in an update that flushes out the cultures a bit more.
Unfathomably back
More CK3AGOT content
11:54 based Old Man
Dorne or Crownlands
I feel like I've seen "pews" somewhere in the books, just can't put my finger on it.
euron didn't kill robin robin died as a baby euron didn't need to get his hands dirty
Lets go Farwynd FTW!!!
What app is this your using?
House Goodbrother best house
Great video!
I recommend to skip Baronies in the next videos. They are to repetitive “another random generated house”.
Just show counties and some canon barons
Lord Harren of Preenmark, great supporter: I assist
Fantasy Haven: what a moron, imagine providing help
How can I get this mod to work? Keeps crashing while loading up
I think Westerlands could be interesting
Seems a really big Kingdom on this game.
What pc do you have that runs mod so smoothly mine doesn’t it’s so laggy
How can you run it that smoothly
Mine works fine with a 600 dollar gaming laptop I bought a few years ago. I know this may not help much but to me it's seems like the best deal you'll get as long as your just playing things like Total War and Paradox games (minus maybe Stellaris as I never played it)
I stumpled upon your channel a week ago and I'm hooked. It's really rare to find a youtuber as autistic (that's a complement, I swear) about ASoIaF as you, even more so with such a great voice and charisma.
I'm literally going to watch everything you upload now, even some ghetto CK3 video about everyone's favourite Ironborn (such a lovely culture).
You bring out the creepiness and the eeriness about this universum really well with not being overly dramatic, but rather humorous, it's so appreciated!
Do thr North!
🫡
Vikings are very good in normal ck3 so I'm curious how viable iron men are in gameplay
0:44 song name?
Thank you for your hard work. I’ve always wanted to know more about all the houses small or large. It’s just so interesting all the stories they each have and how unique their names and crests are. I love it
I think Dorne would have the next least amount of houses
This is a cool video, because I played as the iron islands and killed my first son and all his sons, so I can play with the crow.
Dang this is Neurodivergent coded.
I actually have ADHD lol
Beyond the wall
I love these videos
Based
19:58 and hes bisexual hes definitely a secret targ
What is the pc game called?
Algorithm 👑
What game is this
Reach
Good video glimbo
Do the reach
Indisputably first
pay the toll. as in the iron price
Gylbert King!!!
Next up...dorne
just wanna make a quick recomendation videos like this are cool but i feel like a lot of people wont watch them until the end which completely fuck with the algorythm making it not recoment your videos due to low watch time maybe make the videos more consise about important characters/canon ones
imagine being called lord or lady pisswater....
Someone must hated their children to name them "Pisswater"
next video dont mention non-canon houses. seems pointless. all canon houses are playable all baronies are generated
I cant wait for them to add magic so Euron feels more proper playing as. Also giving Victarion his proper hand which would go along with adding the R'hlorr religion/magic
What i love about my Ironborn playthrough is that the ruler of Harlaw Rodricks father is such a fucking dick any event he comes with me he just antagonizes the fuck out if everyone and im temped to kill him but id feel Euron my character thinks its funny and would rather deal with him then his Rodrick
Lot of intermarriage in these islands
