With armenians you can build fortified churches and add couple of warrior monks with your champions for healing. Also protect your resources with same way, so you can use monks to destroy rams.
@@EsquireRWhen Mountain Royals was released Monaspa were OP because due to a bug they dealt bonus damage to buildings, infantry and archers when grouped together. The bug was fixed in the December patch when I wrote this comment.
Lets see if viper if comes to the same conclusion, that the difficulties dont match in this dlc. In my opinion Thoros is the most difficult one by far.
Every mission in this campaign is easily steam rolled with just composite bowmen and meat shield warrior priest/champion, i think i lost red in mission 5, but allies are useless anyway and ai just sends units to die to castles
Bloody crestwaves was probably the hardest mission in the whole DLC, Took me like 4 tries cuz I kept picking the rightmost side and decided to just go left for my last try. Also Tamar: mission 4 Tamar the builder took me like 3 hours to beat.
Already did this mission but was curious to see if Hero unit would go down. Two times, nice! Are you not entertained? Cuz I am. I had to redo mission 3, Caught in the crossfire, once.. I had to redo mission 4, Bloody crestwaves like 4 times. I bet Viper does both in the first try.
I think the jump in sound volume is really irritating. I would say leave it as it is and repeat what the narrator said if it was hard to understand / silent / drowned out by other ongoing things

Thoros 5 was so hard that I backed out, did the other two campaigns first, then came back. Excited to compare notes on these campaigns
I think the allies are not useless in the new campaigns, they just need time. And after that time u dont need them anymore😂
That moment when Viper read that hero must survive is briliant.
"Thoros must have felt invincible" as he died on the battlefield. I like this mechanic, the same hero can be lost more than once.
