I'm Swedish and just now heard this and I'm baffled. Wow. It's Nuts how good this is.
I'm not Czech but the Czech anthem is one my favourites and I think Tereza's interpretation is one of the best. Big like for her!
When the Czech Republic play hockey I always wish them to win because the Anthem is so nice (except when they are playing Finland, of course..) and here is a very beautiful version. The fact that the country was unfree for so many years gives extra spice to the beauty of this song.
Terrific arrangements by the musicians. Good choice of keys for the singer. The mallet-piano-without-a-casing instrument looks intriguing (and a whole lot lighter than the alternative!)

not really, she can't even touch how czech anthem should sounds, it was also faster than should be :-D
@@Pidalin ? I thought that sounds pretty close to 'official' versions I heard? Except that she stayed in a lower pitch. But that's okay, not everyone is good at high pitching. Not to mention her version suits the lyrics well, much better than those who rises notes from my understanding. I'm sort of appalled by how anthem singing now equals high pitch. Really not necessary
@@davidfreeman3083 I don't mean he can't sing, but it's pop version of our anthem, we are not used to hear such verion.

nepredpokladam, ze by kluci s Terezkou vystupovali pred takovym publikem. mne aby asi kleplo stat takhle najednou pred 7.000 lidmi a byt centrem pozornosti :)) kazdopadne zvladli to bravurne a obe hymny znely krasne. takove aranzma se mi moc libi a bylo by fajn, kdyby se narodni hymny podobnym zpusobem hraly casteji! kdyz se ty hymny podaji takhle, tak celemu zapasu dodaji uplne jinou uroven- takovou kulturni, spolecnskou :)
