Francis: "It is how we are doing the what".
Where we are coming from is what matters.
❤ the most true explanation of yoga I've ever heard. So very grateful for Francis.
Thank you
I am new to this understanding and have been looking for genuine teachers. After watching, listening and observing the trio of Rupert, Francis and Jean Klein I have noticed something striking that separates them. I could be mistaken but I would love to know your thoughts.
I loved Rupert immediately when I first started. He is closer to our generation, likeable and explains everything very simply. Francis is likeable as well but has a far more logical and somehow more practical way of thinking. My favorite. But Jean Klein gives me chills...He embodies what seems to be what is closer to the truth somehow. I can't explain it in the mind but maybe that's the point.
I agree. Francis is like the Sherlock Holmes of Spirituality.
I do wish I had known of Jean Klein when he was still alive. I glimpse him in Francis at times. ❤
Francis and Rupert both represent very rational, emphirical non-duality.
But Rupert is little more like a very nice inteligent, educated priest ot pastor, he jumps subtly from emphirical to metaphisical, and Francis is more like J.Krishnamurti who question everything, more rational and scientific.
All arguments why is Consciousness not limited I took from Francis more then from Rupert, etc.
This is my opinion. 😊
Very well expressed, and I agree completely. I believe the differences stem from the fact that one is a ceramic artist and poet/ writer; the other has worked as a scientist in the French military, and the one who gave you (and me) chills had studiesd Vedanta in India under a Sanskrit scholar

I found headstand to be one of the most relaxing asanas, also relieving headaches at times - am I supposed to stop doing it then, too?
What's not healthy about it? I'm doing it mostly for ca. 2minutes once a day. In the tradition of Sivananda Yoga, in which teachers have a direct lineage and from whom I learned from, it is said to be "King of the Āsanas” because of its remarkable benefits". Thanks.
Though yoga gives many benefits to the human body the ultimate goal of yoga is to lead one from the identification with a body the ultimate destination of which is death to the knowledge of one's true immortal nature
To be able to do headstand is to be focused without thoughts or ignoring thoughts. But one need not do headstand to rid oneself of a headache. Rather the state of surrender.
I guess that's the true essence of yoga - to deeply feel your body and have a sincere contact with it. Not trying to force certain asanas by following mind's suggestions as to how often or for how long to do them, rather be rooted within the body and hear it's subtle voise - after all it's your body, who can know it better than you, the one driving it?!🤗
