Jalen Brunson fell into probably the best situation. Mavs didn't really have a secondary ball-handler after Luka for each year he was there besides himself so he was able to develop and grow with lots of playing time, also learned a lot from Luka that he could utilize in his own game.

The whole time Jay Wright was at Nova he’s had some special teams….Randy Foy and those Kyle Lowry teams were good too….Im a Carolina guy but watching Nova play was like watching a clinic in fundamentals mixed with speed and physicality…Like a well operated machine man

I remember watching yall in college man. I came from out of town and I learned who you were from the crowd there. They loved you just as much as they loved Jalen.
And now they're on the same team, along with Josh Hart. 3 former Villanova teammates all on the same team, this prolly gonna be the first time the Knicks have had a solid locker room in terms of chemistry since fucking Pat Riley.
Seeing the way Brunson plays, how he plays down hill and can create his own shot, off the dribble, both middy and 3pt... seeks contact in the lane, and still in his prime playing years, I knew this was exactly the right player for the Knicks, especially in terms of a point guard. The Knicks haven't had a fucking clue what it's like to have a real offensive threat and playmaker at that position in decades. The PG spot has always been an afterthought for the Knicks, not anymore.
He a Champion and Jalen is building his status and name and be heard all over the world.

@@DMVrepersenter Tyreke was best as an on-ball shot creator. He only played as primary ball handler in SAC for 2 seasons. Same with Evan Turner. Why take a player and try to make him a catch and shoot guy? Wasted talent; I was saying these guys would be superstars or nothing like that
Those Nova teams were absolutely loaded they had 6 NBA guys in 2016 in Bridges, Donte, Josh Hart, Brunson, and Paschall and they all stayed thru 2018 except Hart. Looking back it’s not surprising at all they won 2 out of 3
