Over 15 years ago I started playing wow as a kid during BC. The warglaives were a statement of awesomeness! A few years ago during one of my hundreds of attempts playing during BfA I finally got the off hand warglaive, and today, as I write this I got the main hand. First time I've tried it since playing again in the new expansion. And February is the next timewalking for BC. To all other nerds who take this shit too seriously like me, believe you can do it!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I feel like such a dick man but my buddy has ran it hundreds of times and I didn't even know about them. He wanted me to come with him to help pull and I kid you not... 1st week I loot the off hand and second week I loot the main hand...

all you newbies who weren't here for day one vanilla, honestly this is heartbreaking to watch this. At one point this was a huge farm back in the day. now its like a joke........ this was one of the final ends to an era of actual strategy. after BC they made WotLK and it was tank and spank. it turned the game into something that was without challenge. most of you who read this will have no idea what I';m talking about and you'll become offended and defensive but you truly missed out on what used to be a game of skill that turned into click and spit.

Man you know how bad I wanted these back in the day it was almost impossible unless you were in a top raiding guild rouges were insane in pvp with all that agility
After 10 years I finally got both on the same toon after trying with multiple characters. Ironically got them on my demon hunter.
Got the mog tonight!
I got both Glaives in less than 2 months, I'm pretty sure my luck OTTP because I completed my Onslaught set too! RNG Gods are on my side.
Took me like a year to get both XD
2 weeks for me lol, first the offhand then the main hand
Took me 4 months to get Fire Cat form for my Druid from running the instance twice a week, I'm not going to do this because my luck is the opposite.
So my question is... Can I get the time walking achievement before I get both glaives?
i already got the warglaives and the achievement, the question is can i do the bt timewalking in another character example on my paladin?
Hello my friend im french and i dont understand how did u have warglaive blue and void edge ?
my friend was grinding these off and on since they could be transmoged and i come in first run through in my whole life and get one of them, he was astonished. 3rd time through i got the other blade!! (the 2nd run i failed) he was furious that he had run that raid what must have been 1000 times and i got bolth within 2 completed runs 😂
how is that funny, you're a bad friend, if he farmed them so many times you should have given them to him, if you were a good friend
lol I missed the part where I had to wield both of them for the achievment. I got the off-hand drop on my Evoker... Fml. Back to the grind.
Got not a single one and the time walk event is in 3 weeks, I guess it’s another 6months wait 💀

Had 2 glaives drop for me within past 2 weeks one on my night elf demon hunter and another on my blood elf both main hands I don't think the off hand drops as often

Hey m8. If I have 1 Warglave and I do BT timewalking for ach would I be able then to transmog both weapons on my DH or I need before going to Timewalking raid both main and off hand ?
You need both before you get the timewalking kill unfortunately
So you can't solo the raid to farm illidian for the glaives? You have to do the time walking event with a full raid group?
you can farm the warglaves but you need to kill illidian on timewalking in order to get the transmog of the warglaves
What’s the name of the enchant to color the warglaives into blue, again? I plan to use them on my Frost Death Knight, So it would fit to the class’ power

Wrathchill is the name of the enchant and yeah it would look pretty sick with a good frost dk mog tbf
Hello I was wondering if using alt DH characters is worth it? Would you have to mail the warglaive between characters? Do you need to have both the main and off hand warglaive on a single character or just on your account?
You need both warglaives on one character and they are soulbound, there isn't really much need in making an alt dh but I did personally back when dh started at a high enough level to easily do the raid. You could get the achievement on the other classes like rogue that I listed in the video tho if they are already leveled.
@RadicalChad if I get the legendary can I transmog a different character on my account to have the appearance?

@RadicalChad I want to weild the sword transmoged on my warrior but if it drops on my envoker(im using to farm black temple) will I be able to transmog the skin? Seems like some drops that are soulbound unlock for my other characters and some don't. I'm confused
@@jacobjordan7440 you cant mog it at all on your warrior but you can still wield them to collect the mog achievement or just for the sake of it on ur warrior. however, if it drops for your evoker you cant equip both at the same time (as evokers can't dual wield swords) so you cant get the achievement and you can't mail it over because its soulbound. hope that helps :)

im a new player and i dont really understand, do I need the achievement of wielding both so I can get them? how does that make any sense😅 or do I need to wield them only so i can transmog them?
Basically you need to loot both glaives and equip them both at once for the achievement
But unlike other weapon appearances you won't gain the mog just by having them
To get the mog you need the achievement and to then beat timewalking illidan

Hey, hope someone reads this! Today I FINALLY got the second glaive and have picked up the achievement on my DH. Can I know do the timeawlking raid on any character? or does it have to be on my DH who has the two glaives? for example, could I now just do it on my monk tank and then completing it would unlock the tmog on my dh alt? Thank you!

@@simonlopresti you have to do it with a DH on the time walking raid! Luckily for me I was collect the glaives with my dh anyway so it works out

I think once i have the first achievement by getting both glaives on one char, after that i can do timewalking black temple on any character and get the 2nd achievement for the transmog? Am just correct or an i wrong? Or should i do the timewalking on the character i got both glaives on?
I got main hand in a Rogue and Offhand in my Monk. Is that a problem? Can i get the mog on next Timewalking?
No. It has to be on the same character
Do you need to kill Ilidan on the same character you have the Warglaives of Azzinoth
No. If you just have the Glaive achievement you're good. You can do the timewalking raid on any toon and get the mog.

If I drop one part with another character and another part with another character, will transmog work?
No has to be both on one character unfortunately
@@RadicalChad I dropped two pieces and gained the achievement, but it would be difficult to raid at lvl 40. If I kill Illidan with my other character, does it count or do I have to kill it with the character that has the gun?
@revolution5169 I had the glaives drop on a rogue foe the achievement and killed illidan on my dh so should be fine using another alt
