Stop saying this band is under rated. At the core of the MANY EPIC TUNES are die-hard fans who love every piece of Cracker!
I have loved this awesome band for 30 years. I love the way each musician is given or taking lol a chance to bring you higher with their skills! Magical!
I'm 46 years old, I've listened to Cracker for years but I guess I never noticed how good they are.
This is a beautiful performance,
I love this version of Cracker! The slide and Bryan on bass is perfect :-) Play it weird, Pistol lol! Seriously one of my favorite bands. I've seen them a bunch-always evolving.
I was at this show, and it was great! At one point they played Border Ska > Kashmir > Border Ska > Hava Nagila > Roundabout > Hava Nagila without missing a beat. It was a lot of fun.
Damn, this band is tight! Guy playing lead guitar is a badass! Fantastic songs, thanks for sharing!!
johnny hickman on lead guitar, you are damn right, what a guitarist! and a decent guy, too; been talking to him two times after a gig in vienna, austria
johnnie hickman
Johnny is one of the best pickers in recent history. IMHO. He don't need no whammy bar.
Great guitar player! Absolutely one of my favorites. Definitely the most underrated of my favorites.
It's sad to think many people only recognize the song "Low". Soooo much talent here!
But without "Low," The great ballads would have been sung but unheard ;)
What about teen angst? That one made the round too....
Amen!
Naw, I've known all the songs for most of my life, one of the first bands I saw live when I was younger... have seen them several times... but, I will admit, they are usually about half-way through One Fine Day before I realize they aren't doing a cover of Mary Jane's Last Dance... lol
Great live footage! I've been a die hard "Crumb" for years. Seen this band 3 times live. They always kick ass live. Had a chance to meet David and Johnny after a show. Really cool guys!! They enjoy speaking with fans. Friendly, outgoing. Their recent album "Berkeley to Bakersfield" is one of the greatest albums ever. These guys have been around for so long and just continue to create great new music.
that's the way it is - cool guys, fine music, great shows ... gotta luv 'em
Let's hope they make another album it's been awhile!
Cracker Van Beethoven! This has great sound, it would make a good live album.
All their songs get me some way, but Almond grove - Wow
Bravo! Cracker and friends, you made my weekend............again! Thanks!
Amazing band. At one point in time I could have sworn they did a Lou Reed cover and I could never find it. Fortunate to see them live in Ft Lauderdale.
Coming to a small venue near me in July.Shoud be fun.
Came for Low, stayed because of the talent.
Yup, a common refrain. Glad you came, and more glad you could appreciate the band for so much more. Love seeing them in January in Philly every year except 2021.
Most excellent!
Thank you for posting...i love this band and there's a distinct shortage of live footage. This has more than restored the balance for this fan.
"Almond Grove" is interesting in that it might be the saddest song ever from Cracker, but when played at this tempo, it puts extra juice in my giddyup.
Agreed, though it's still tough to get through without at a least a few tears.
@@fishersofpurgatory3717 for sure. i lost my oldest son to OD couple years ago. fuck fentanyl.
ahhh, 2017 good year
Been listening to these guys since '94. I don't do concerts, but I'd definitely like to see them.
These lads like a fine wine--one of them REAL GOOD FORTIFIED ones!
Just saw these guys live in Nashville. Still incredible.
Craker is like a diamond only a few got it 😊
Thanks for the excellent recording & actually panning over to Pistol at his parts! Great job & thanks for sharing!
Hell yeah
My favorite band!!!
For my money it doesn't get any better than Johnny Hickman solos on Eurotrash Girl
I think one my favorite shows I ever saw was actually a Cracker Van Beethoven combo at Bonnaroo... 2004-5ish. Segel, Krummenacher and Immerglück joining in with Johnny and David. Don't remember who the drummer was. Fantastic sound! Matchstick Men requires a good string player and benefitted greatly from Segel and, as we observe here in One Fine Day, lends something to Cracker too. They played a mix of both bands' songs and a little louder than usual as I recall--lots of other stages around. My wife even liked it and she couldn't stand anything remotely resembling Country Music.
Sadly Bud was the only beer offered except I think it was a Red Hook (Bud owned) stand opened up briefly before it was thronged, all kegs drained in like 5 minutes by thirsty beer lovers desperate for anything other than crap American lager.
Love this Band, come on Guys..get yourselves over to the UK. you never know, you might find a couple of Euro Trash Girls....each!
I want in to this band. 😍 David was so cool at T Leaf 🍃

@@ronemory7149 as a fan of hicker, me, I have already bought those...
❤
great band man
What Fun!
The last rock n roll band on the planet.
The audio quality of the other CRACKER LIVE, U-tube posts has been poor. This one sounds fantastic, fidelity does really matter Eh❓
They need to go bowling more. 8-)
One of the best bands most people have never heard. Competing with Tom Petty in those days wasn't easy and these guys didn't get the airplay they deserved. It ain't gonna suck itself.....
David Lowry for President.!
How many times did they play Friday Cheers in Richmond Va
Great alt band.
33:00 that guitar tune
Nice opening from Dave and the guys. Never liked low much, surprised no Big Dipper here? Huge camper influence show, teen angst, well I guess the world doesn’t need another folk singer😜. He still sounds the same As he did at first ave in mpls here in early 90,s. Great
Camper Van Beethoven
Not too bad with a $200 guitar amp
59:45 health check
It'll all be complete when these Cats share a venue with Widespread.............. Please baby Jesus, make it happen
It did happen already. Cracker opened for Panic at what is now the Jiffy Lube venue in Bristow, VA. Was at Panic the night before in North Carolina and we left early the next morning to catch both acts on the way home at that venue in VA. There was apparently a massive accident on 95 North and no one was there for Cracker, which was a real shame. www.tourdatesearch.com/tourdates/artist/768/cracker?p=25
Ended up a junkie, living in my brother's car
What's in the trunk?
I love this band but they need to hire a bass player that's still living.
what?
