It would be cool, maybe as a suggestion for the next #QuarantineMob, if there was a way to check if the registration went through. A confirmation via email or something would be great. I don't 100% trust online forms 😅.

You can just sing! Check out the registration page, there are some examples!
It says in the tutorial that the audio file, if recorded separately, should be included as well. How does this work? I thought the whole point of showing the timer is so that the video and audio can be easily aligned. If I send in the audio separately, that would be more work, wouldn't it? I'd rather make a single file that has the video with the separately recorded audio already in it 🤔. I can use lossless compression if need be.
Our video engineers and sound engineers will work separately. The point is - most of the times when editing files, people mess up various things, like for example the video won't be perfectly aligned with audio, or backing track will be heard somewhere and so on. The video processing takes much more time, therefore we decided to try with timers this time, so at least some videos can be synced automatically.
Last time, for example, we used a clap for sync purposes, but everyone clapped at different moment, a lot of people didn't clap at all, some guys sent us only fragments when they play music, and eventually almost everything had to be aligned by hand. So, if you are sure that the video file with audio added by you will be fine, then sure, send it like that, no problem! :)

you mean we have to prepare a song and Direct record the video with mobile camera without listening to backing track?Or we can professional record them like a cover video?
You can listen to backing track in headphones (so the sound of backing track would not be heard on the video) - this is the preferable way to record the video. But you can also record audio separately if you have the gear and if you know how to do that. Most important thing is to keep the tempo according to the tutorials and it would also be great if you show the timer in the beginning and in the end of the video - it'll help us sync the video a lot!
@@RocknMobAfter recording the audio seperately I can merge it in the video or you need it to be raw. like audio seperate and video seperate?

It is crucial that you do everything according to the tutorials, so we can mix your sound and video into the final footage. We would prefer you do record just one live video without separate raw audio, but of course it's up to you - what's easier and preferable to you. But if you record audio and video separately, please do send us both files (1 video file and one audio file - so two separate files), please don't do any merging/editing/CGI or anything like that :) Just what your camera and your mics record, don't split/merge/edit anything, we will do all the work!

Yes, everyone from any country is welcome to join us. No, you don't need to record all the instruments unless you want to. It's totally enough if you record just one part!

Everyone is welcome! As there will be a lot of singers, it's gonna be a choir, so you will be mixed up and it should be totally fine :)
