Eerie whispers and distant screams echoed through the narrow streets, carrying a sense of foreboding. Cloaked figures moved silently through the town, their faces hidden in shadow, their purpose clear.
They gathered in hushed reverence, paying homage to the one who would become the future lord of the night.
