Some would be straight Canon that made the strike harder While others gave the ball either curbs or specials that could make it easier to get points. Best of all, none of them were aimed. This meant that both players had to use actual skills to recover and counter-attack rather than relying on one sheep gimmick.
By far the most unique roster in a mario spinoff. Mario kart should take notes

I never had a problem with Metal Mario. He’s more unique and well known then sticking Pink Gold Peach. He was his own character in both Smash Bros 64 and Mario Golf 64 and even was playable alone in Mario Kart 7. He’s in more games then Shadow Mario. Heck I bet people wouldn’t mind having Gooigi in a spin-off game one day.

Comparing this to Battle Leauge at launch, even with it's similar lack in content, you can tell Next Level put a lot more care directly into the gameplay and animations. For example these Camelot games reuse a lot of the same Basic Switch Assets used in so many other games with the confetti cheers and robotic font animations

I have two words to describe this character roster: pure perfection. Why? Because there are no clones and wasted character slots. A lot of long time veterans have returned from previous games, and some newcomers like Pauline, Boom Boom, and Chain Chomp made their first playable appearances.

The sound was from Bowser's former voice actor, Scott Burns, who voiced the character from 2002 to 2006. The rest of Bowser's sounds in the game are by Kenny James still.
