- Cull Obsidian looks like a powerful piece of Thanos Lockjaw decks, but is he strong enough to bring other archetypes back to life, like an old school zoo deck?

Power Estimate: This deck had a pretty solid win rate for me at 59%, and Cull Obsidian definitely felt important to those wins by providing some stacked single-location power where otherwise this archetype tends to go really wide. This is not a proven archetype, and needs way more data to know if these sorts of numbers are sustainable, but I've seen a few other folks reporting success with similar lists.

Her ability text says start of each turn and not end of each turn, it makes it very clear why she doesn't return when game ends.
I love this Zoo type decks, I hope the archetype keeps getting better. Also how tired is Regis, he didn't realise he was in Turn 6 for half the video xd, you gotita love it

I believe it is a (physically) small CZcamsr named Dekkster, Regis locks him in his basement for safe keeping and editing duties!
Whether it be hearthstone or marvel snap, Regis has always had the best thumbnails out there

I’ve been using cull obsidian in high evo/hulks deck and killing it. He really helps out getting Skaar in play
I use Angela, Elsa, Kitty and Nightcrawler in my zoo decks. Elsa makes Kitty and NC get pretty big before they go to other locations
really appreciate you keeping some losses in your videos. they're just as fun to watch and it feels like a weird ego thing to only include wins.

Funny enough I hit infinite with zoo this season, no Cull or Prof X though. Like Regis said, big vertical decks are a problem, you gotta run Valkyrie.🎉
I've been using a Thanos Zoo brew (with a Loki splash as backup plan) that has been performing VERY well. Black Swan and Cull are clutch, no lockjaw
I recently got thanos and i kind of suck with playing thanos without blob and sakaar so can u make a video on thanos destroy decks😊...

Is it worth noting your Cube rate if you don’t snap often for these videos because you lean towards finishing matches without your opponent not running early?

I believe back when the game was new he mentioned something along the lines of using base cards only. If I remember right he’s doing it so they are more distinguishable for all players
He prefers to not use variants in his videos so that people watching can more easily tell what the cards are

Zoo deck is pretty solid now, u can beat many of the meta decks, obviously u will never beat highroll Thanos and Hela, and I’m playing monkey version which has quite a lot of power on last turn with swan
I've been using Black Swan in my Drac a Zoo deck since the beginning of the season. The only cards that differ from a standard zoo deck are Dracula, Red Skull and Infinaut

I've been running a similar deck without cull obsidian but with hit monkey
Black swan on turn 5
Hit monkey+1 drops+ Shanna on turn 6 is such a huge power swing

I honestly don't get the hype for Cull Obsidian when Jessica Jones exists. Jessica counters shang chi and doesnt requires 1 drops. The only benefit from Cull Obsidian is that you can have a very cheap Skaar but I dont think that's enough for 6000 tokens.
I think 2 less 1 cost with Shanna would be better. Or replace Shanna. Squirrel girl, definitely is too much with Shanna

Am I the only one who kinda dislikes this meta? There’s absolutely no variation you either go against destroy, thanos or junk. It’s getting really boring we definitely need a meta shake up
I've been feeling a little off in this meta too. Not seeing as much experimentation from opponents, which makes games feel more predictable.
