Fun fact! The Golden Gate Bridge was originally supposed to be gold but was left red because when they put on paint primer it dried red before they could get the other side. Basically the paint primer dried quicker than expected so they left it red.

The Scottish Parliament is what H.P. Lovecraft meant when he talked about buildings that defy Euclidean geometry and eventually drive you nuts.
So that explains why Scotland’s politics are all messed up,
Kennywnorth Ken North well, a lot of that is attributed to the fact we’re not independent and UK government holds power over a lot, as there are “reserved issues” that we have no control over. We can only control “devolved issues”.

The reason why the Pisa Tower titled like this is mostly concerned with the foundations of the tower itself. Apparently the soil underneath it is mostly composed of clayey soil, meaning that it doesn't do well with super heavy loads. What happened is that the tower was being built in phases, so during the first few phases the soil under it "settled", as in it got displaced due to the heavy loading. To counter balance that, the Romans started making the floor sections taller on the side that they wish to counter balance, resulting in a bit of curvature. After full construction, and with time of course, the soil underneath started settling again and numerous efforts were done to stabilise the tower and its soil. The Italians nowadays ended up using a tensioned cable system just to hold the tower so it won't topple down.
