I like Monica Chan . Very elegant
Monica Chan placed 23 in the preliminary of Miss Universe 1990...a lot higher than many of her successors in the 1990s when the preliminary scores were revealed.
Unfortunately she still fell short of making the top 10 and bring Hong Kong back to the semifinals! Oh well, she did do better than many of the HK representatives TVB has sent.

I recall how glamorous those Miss Hong Kong pagaent were, but I haven't watched all these shows since my teen years. Seeing these young women jumping through hoops (eg. the swimsuits section) was particularly repulsive. It's a false narrative that does nothing but objectifies women and girls.
