I haven't discuss this topic yet, however, to make a quick and easy report, you need to go to reports module of Koha and then click on create from SQL and then write the report name and module and put the SQL code, you can find multiple SQL codes on Koha Wiki Reports Library, wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library
Leader is the primary tag to processes a MARC record. It is usually a system generated tag but can be modify. Leader consists of 24 characters about the format, type, authority, classification, and holding details of a record. Directory refers to index location of a record, follow by leader at tag 001. It is also a system generated tag and doesn't use indicator and subfield codes. However, in batch uploading you can use barcode number to make it unique (just a suggestion). Variable fields means different fields. In MARC every filed is variable to other.
