Thank you, Mina. One of the reasons I started posting videos was I saw other women being unapologetically them with sun spots, "imperfect" bodies, what ever that means, and wrinkles. I saw them as beautiful and it made me wonder why I was being so hard on myself.
I think if I show women my sun spots, wrinkles and average 52 years old body (maybe a bit looser than others) then it will give others permission to be happy with themselves too.
I would love to get rid of them but I'm not going to stress about it.🤗

Have never come across them, but they would certainly make for easy detail work, especially to refine winged liner! Thanks in advance! I don’t know if you have ever tried MAC single shadow Amorous Alloy (Extra Dimension version)? It is in the color family of the MAC palette you used, but is just a kick more shimmer. For a one-and-done look it is phenomenal! Next time you are near a MAC counter you must give it a swatch! I have dark brown eyes and use it regularly. Have gotten compliments when I wear it, my husband loves it on me too! I would love to see a copper look on you! You could smear peanut butter on your eyes tho. and pull it off beautifully! I'm going a little less dramatic these days so I vote the natural sside. The left for a special event! The foundation tint looks gorgeous. I definitely need to give it a try!
I love the natural side too. When you use the Skin Tint remember it gives you a ton of hydration so you may be able to put it over top of a serum and light sunscreen.🤗

When you swatched on your arm and said, "Look at that wrinkled skin ..." it made me think of a day when I glanced down at my own arm before I had prepared my brain and I said, "Oh my GOD, is that MY arm???" Shock city. In my mind I'm still, like, 32. You're using some products I like very much: M.A.C.'s "Painterly" paint pot and one of their eyeshadow palettes. You have such gorgeous eyes, wowza! Right?! I don't even want to talk about my legs. I look like a spotted leopard.🤣 Well, I do when I'm self tanned. It brings all the spots out but hides the purple veins. I'll take the spots over purple.
A lot of people are saying MAC Paint Pot is too dry for the eyes. I saw that happen on my sister in law when I tried it on her. I'm glad it works for us.😃

It makes a big difference when you took some of the eyeshadow away on the outside of first eye, it lifted the eye look, it's a great hack too remember if the person have hooded or drupy eyes.

The lazy day makeup is honestly how I wear my makeup most of the time unless I have an event. It's also how I would do most of my client's makeup too. I love it when makeup doesn't take over someone's natural beauty.

Thank you, Lisa! I had put eye drops in it to open it up. It is getting better though. Not perfect, but better than it was for sure. I went to the hospital this week. I'm struggling to catch my breath at night too. They're sending me to the stroke clinic to make sure I didn't have a TIA but I really don't think I did.
I've been reading about Myasthenia Gravis. It all sounds like me and it would make sense the testing I've had so far is coming back normal. Who knows? I'm glad to be going to the specialist but I believe I need a neurologist, not the stroke clinic. I'm sure I'll get there at some point.
I have to go watch Jodi's livestream she did the other day. I wanted to join but that's the day I went to the hospital.

Hi Julie, I was going to send you a message checking to see how you were feeling, so glad you popped on this am. Such pretty eye looks. I liked the softer look on your left eye better for some reason 🤷🏼♀️. They both are pretty. Do you use the Rikki Mirror? I seem to always be in a hurry, you have really shown me how important it is to take our time in blending, blending, blending. It makes a huge difference in everything we put on our face and eyes. I love the color of the MAC Paint Pod Painterly, but it’s so drying on my eyelids. If I don’t apply in my inner corner, it works for me,otherwise it really looks so drying and shows all my crinkles and lines. The Tinted looks really pretty. I purchased a high end tinted moisturizer, the first time I applied it, it looked so pretty it was on sale, so I ordered a second tube, tried it a 2nd time and it looked horrible. So, $50.00 wasted. 😢. I think today I’m going to play with it and give it another go. I’ve not been wearing any makeup as I’ve not been anywhere. Last week I was applying easy looks and it does make us feel better doesn’t it. Thank you for sharing. Always learn something New from watching you apply your makeup looks. Oh, are you loving Nikki La Rose’s brushes and do you like them better than the BK brushes? I’m getting ready to order, but haven’t decided which ones I want to order. I realize that BK brushes we have so many to choose from.
Ooh, try the tinted moisturizer again and pay attention to your skin prep. Maybe it needs to be altered a touch. What brand did you buy, Karla?
I do like the Nikki La Rose brushes but if I were to invest in a set, I would choose the BK Beauty Brushes (face) and the Angie Hot & Flashy Eye brushes. I like the Angie Hot & Flashy because it has smaller brushes for the eyes and the face brushes are my go-to for foundation. Lately I've been trying a lot of skin tints that are more fluid so I choose the Nikki La Rose dual sided brush but I don't use the powder side of it very often. I do like Nikki's brushes though. I should film a video to discuss why I like each brush. There's always a reason why I choose a specific brush for each step.
Thank you for thinking of me. It's been a rough week to be honest. I went to the emergency room the other day because I couldn't lie down without losing my breath. I was waking up in the night gasping for air.
They have me going to the stroke clinic at the end of the month but I have a feeling their tests won't show anything. Maybe I'm having a flare with the Lyme disease. Who knows? My left eye is looking better. Not perfect but it's much better than it has been.
Now if I could just get my energy back and be able to cook without having to sit down after. Goodness!

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry that your having so many problems with you eye and Lt side of your face. I hate going to the ER. Thank My Lord that I’ve not had to go in a very long time. I’m praying that you get properly dx asap. I understand not being able to stand for any length of time. I have a dishwasher, but, it’s just me and my furr baby so I dont have very many dishes to wash, but trying to stand at the sink to wash them, is almost impossible. I end up having to bend at the knees and lean onto the sink to wash and rinse. ( I can’t stand to go to bed with dirty dishes in my sink). Chronic pain really causes so much fatigue and loss of energy. And with Lyme Disease, that sure takes it out of you. Did you injure your spine.? I’ve got an appt on the 6th for orthosurgeon to do nerve blocks and Ablation. I can’t wait. They help so much in easing my pain. I also have Ulcerative Colitis and it’s been in full flare. Can’t eat anything except crackers with mustard to ease the nausea. But past sev days I’ve been in the bathroom soooo many times. I’m concerned as there is so much bright red blood. I see a Gastro on the 20 th. I think of you daily and your in my daily prayers. I don’t understand why they’ve not figured out what’s going on with the Lt side of your face. Bless your heart, I know it can be very overwhelming and stressful. I’m praying that the Neurologist that you’re going to see will know what’s causing it. Yes, your eye didn’t look as dropped and your Lt side of face didn’t look as swollen. Sorry, as a Nurse, I pay attention to those things. Looking forward to your live tonight.
