@@hambot I bought the pastel set and it has to be the worst of them all because I really wasnt enjoying it much :(but since you praised Prima so highly, I’m givint it another go 🌞
@@JaneBeata omg lol! I would not get the pastel ones because the dark and vibrant colors from them are the best. I also think that the chalkiness can be off putting to some people.
Oh, my.. There's a color called Budapest!😍😍😍 The capital city of Hungary😊 And it's her favorite!😁😀 Any Hungarians here other then me..?😅🇭🇺🇭🇺 By the way, I really like your style!😙
It's a fun to watch you painting with watercolor like gouache 😃. It's different but beautiful... And I love your dramatic approach with lighting ❤️❤️❤️
Give those greens another look in the terrain set...they grew on me...and I love the purple in there the best too. But u have made me want the odyssey set now..thanx! Beautiful portrait.
Late to the party, but using a desiccant can really help stave off mould! I put the little bags of silica gel that came in COVID tests into my paint palettes. Admittedly my climate is dry (and more importantly, cold), but I’ve not suffered from mouldy paints since.
This painting is gorgeous. [Edit1: I was thinking about the humidity where you live, you could perhaps buy or make an anti fungal type spray to coat or mix in with your watercolors. I know clove is a popular one for handmade ones, though I also saw that Mimi has one for their gouache. I've never heard anyone using them with watercolor but that may be an option in the future. I unfortunately can't help with first hand humidity experience since I've always lived in the dryer climates of my country.] (Edit 2: i hadnt finished the video when i commented so i laughed when you mentioned Juciy ink half way through on talking about the palette) I hope I don't offend with this, but theres something about the pose and the way you painted this that reminds me so much of the "Juicy ink" artist Victoria. You captured such a similar emotion and flow as her pieces I can't help but correlate the two.
Artist are so cool!! How can you guys blend different colors to come up with that cool skin tone or shadows and all😭 I want to use water colors too, I badly want to play with colors and pens and pencils, but I'm not good:((
I actually like those cheaper watercolors sets. I wanted to get Prima long time ago but now I have accumulated several sets of different brands. And I feel it is a waste to buy more. I live in Florida and my White Nights do not get moldy, neither the gouache set I have for three years. Maybe it's water quality that cause it.🤔
Oh, don't underestimate the climate of Southeast Asia. Several of my White Nights and Sennelier straight up are liquid in their pans, nothing I do can make it dry. 😂
@@NamikazeH I find it is not necessary to soak White nights in water, you just pick some with damp brush and put it in the mixing area. I always add a drop of water in Van Gogh paints before start painting, they are definitely on a dry side. There is 80- 90% humidity where I live.
@@moonlightgator I never added water to them, I dab on it with the brush and it's already way too much paint for what I need anyway. It was just straight up liquid since being sent to me from the art store. It's been almost a year for some of the paints and it has never dried, or even thickened. Has the consistency of honey to this day. It's 70-90+% humidity where I live, and I don't have any kind of climate control (even a fan...) in my room.
I really like your art and watching the painting process, but I have to be honest; it really hurts my eyes when the camera focuses on your hand. Like, I literally have to stop looking at the art and wait for the camera to focus again. If it can't be helped, it can't be helped. It's just a shame that it happens so often in your videos.
I fell asleep and missed my own premiere! Sorry for missing the live chat guys 😭😭😭
Oh no. 😱
Sounds like you needed it. Hope it was a good sleep at least 😊
The paints look like a lot of fun. The piece came out great.
MOOD hahaha 😂😂
The thumbnail is already so mesmerizing, those colors are striking! Can't wait for the premiere :)
I hope you liked it jane! I'm curious if you've tried any of their sets

Way too expensive for what they are. I don't think they are bad quality just too expensive.
