My child is now in class 11 cbse. She is above average student. Im totally confused last month after her boards.. Which scool to enroll Regular, Dummy, NIOS or Coaching school.. Earlier planned NIOS + arts group but she is interested to study biology.. So decided to put NIOS +itegrated coaching but worried whether nios works for her.. Then checked dummy+ integrated which is full of business and marketing education by the way thay approached.. As you said the coaching people are absolutely for certain kids in 11th who really wish to achieve and strive for that alone. I put her in Regular.. actually changed old Regular school which im not satisfied and serious learning happens only during final exam time in that school. I totally agree that children upto 18 should be exposed to lot of activities not only academics which will help them throughout their life.. I could say Regular school is like mothers milk and dummy like alternative milk. Thank you soo much.. Loved the concern in your tone❤

Hello mam....im a student of 10th and i love maths and science and i live in jharsuguda were there are not any good coaching centers.so i want to study in pune but there not in any school with good coaching provided as they are mostly with perspective of school curiculum..and i have read a bit of ncert of 11th science because i took part in nsejs. So should i join dummy?
Dear if your approach is very focused, you may join . You can save lot of time, but a good school will give you better foundation, although you would need extra guidance with school curriculum.
Pune is a good place for academic excellence.

In my school, ‘Modern Publications ' books are followed and I want to crack JEE 2025. I am enrolled in PW 4pm to 8pm batch. Due to which I get only 2 hours in the whole day in which I solve coaching DPP and module and revise notes. I don't get time for NCERT and school homework as it took me 1 hr to reach my school same time to come from school. I am confused will my CBSE affiliated allow me to make 2 holidays per week so that I can give some time for JEE preparation!!! 😔😔

Pw is amazing platform, it seems your school is not following ncert. But PW must be taking content from it. Yes , there is struggle with attendance in CBSE’s based school, but it will get better with time. Taking one year extra and improving your rank is also not a bad option but you first focus on 2025 mains. Good luck

Integrated system is good for students who are extremely focused and have already mastered their basics. I don’t think integrated will be a good option in your case.

If there aren’t good schools available near your place , you may join school affiliated to your coaching but remain focused on your goal. Stay connected to your coaching teachers.

I too believe in schooling and holistic development, doing practicals and learning by experiments...but since, students have to prepare for competitive exams as well, i am looking for a residential school with integrated coaching for my son. Can u plz suggest any from jee perspective?
In my opinion, grade 11,12 are foundation years so preferably the child should stay with parents however if good schools aren’t available near your place , can suggest few if you can give me little idea about location.

We are also considering 'the academic city school' in Bangalore which is also career oriented. It will be great if u can suggest some good options..

Although most of residential institutions that claim to give best entrance results are coaching based.
However few residential school too are pocket friendly and give good results e.g.
Jain International Residential School Bangalore,
Modern Gurukul Dehradun ,
Shivneri School Maharashtra.
State wise Andhra Pradesh success rate is outstanding.

1) schools lack even teaching basic . Most teachers at most school dont teach wll , many teachers i felt like they lacked concentual clarity themselves
2) yes ncrt is important so just do it self even in schools they dont teach properly ncert
3) most teachrs r overworked at schools an thus arent able to teach well .
4) extracurrior activties in most schools is shit . 1-2 times sports periods a week is all most students get.
5) school jaane ke baad bhi last me youtube ya koi book se hi padhne ki requinment hoti the even for schools exams and boards .
i think if ur schools is really ki it prepares u for boards and u dont have to do school work after school and they teach NCERT properly in school at right lvl then u can go to schools an example wouldd be DPS Rk Puram

dummy is best becuase even in coaching they do ncert but faster and i have not seen a lot of ppl who do well in jee do bad in boards ,,,,regular school going students will definetly face the issue of time shortage and they will end up doing good in boards and end up nowhere,,,,,there is no top university which accepts in terms of just boards

Non integrated school में लैब में जाकर प्रॅक्टिकल्स attend करने की वज़ह से बच्चों का physics /chemistry में interest बरकार रहने में मदद होती है क्या? क्योंकि कोचिंग क्लास में तो सिर्फ theory पढ़ने से ये subjects बोरिंग लगना लाजमी है.
