The role of Alexis Carrington Coby can never be recreated by another actress. That character is one of a kind. Nothing against the actresses from the CW remark/reboot. Very disappointed in the CW remark/reboot. Why did the original creators of Dynasty approve this remake/reboot of Dynasty.

There is only one Alexis and it's Joan Collins' portrayal. Nicolette Sheridan was barely passable on Knots Landing. Unlike Joan who ages like fine wine, Nicolette is just grapes rotting on the vine - she looks grotesque with all that filler and Botox and she can't act her way out of a paper bag if her life depended on it. Even when she was on Desperate Housewives, she brought the whole show down.
Richard and Esther Shapiro, whose only claim to fame since the 80's is Dynasty, did the reboot for money, regurgitating one liners and scenes from the original show. Those who only watch the CW version may think it's great, but compared to the original, it's abhorrent trash.
