- RARE! NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE! - The shallow, slimy waters of the L.A. River are not too deep to wade through for a chance to paint the walls. Back in the 1980's, you could find Graffiti down here dating back to the 1940's. Nothing had ever been buffed. It was all virgin cement walls. The top L.A. Graffiti Crews began really putting in a lot of work down here in the mid-eighties, and this videos shows the response from some of the New York Graffiti writers who came to battle. HISTORICAL.

Damn this looked like a fun time to paint the la river ... no security or buffs... just painting and exploring I haven’t seen any bombs down in that area of the river for years and years now
