    I have always been grateful for Pink and her ability to be so honest with her fans! I met my husband when I was 14 years old and I just knew he was the man I wanted to marry. We are both still together and we are 32 years old this year. We have had our struggles. But we are still always willing to work it out. Marriage can be tough but also so rewarding. ❤ Communication, compassion, kindness, and affection is so important for both people in the marriage. Talk through your problems, hurts, and conflicts. Share and be honest with each other. Thank you, Pink! I have always been a fan! Your music has got me through some hard times in my life! You are truly amazing! ❤ Thank you for opening up about your marriage. It is so helpful people knowing marriage is not a cake walk and it takes work. But if you are with the right person and your relationship is healthy for you both... Marriage can be a blessing. My love goes out to everyone right now!!!
    Be Safe! 💜

    I think what is healthy about therapy/counseling/life coach sessions is that these are people that are not already in your life and are therefore not biased. Soooo many people take advice from people they love and care about but they’re also biased and don’t see the other side or hear the other persons feelings or what’s going on behind closed doors.

    Breakdowns in a marriage or a relationship are not always a result of a communication breakdown. Character disturbances hidden amongst what looks like a neurotypical human being can lay at the foundation of relationship breakdowns. Personality disorders are a hidden epidemic, specifically cluster B, like covert passive aggressive narcissism. Couples therapy can actually enable the personality disordered individual against the silent victim and triangulate the counselor if they are not educated in the manipulative tactics. More education and public awareness on emotional and psychological abuse needs to be brought to the forefront. Lots of people suffering in silence and behind closed doors and may not even know they are being abused or worse yet, blame themselves for the poor dynamics in the relationship. Love languages do not work in all cases, nor do attempts at “better listening”, if the real issue is a hidden mental illness. Please, shed light on personality disorders and developmental trauma and CPTSD from childhood wounds. As elaborated on in the book The Attachment Connection, raising secure children matters.

    • @hinglemccringleberry7265
      @hinglemccringleberry7265 Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks. I was thinking something along these lines as well.
      I've had my experience with a partner with BPD which is also cluster B. I do not know Pink but she seems like she could be a pwBPD or at least shares traits. Or maybe it is more the persona her management created for her media image to sell better to a certain demographic? 🤷‍♀️
      But I do not fully trust Pink when she talks about her relationship or sings about love - it feels it might be just very one sided and idealizing. Even when talking about her dark side it it is still always in a very positive context or her music is about acting out and normalizing it with pop sounds. Therefore it is probably good music to indentify with at some point in life if you have common similar problems or maybe even more serious problems with emotional instability. And that is in a way an artistic approach and not a bad role.
      But pwBPD often have this non-awarness of how assymetrical their needs are and what they do to the people around them.
      I could imagine that a rockstar who is dirty-rich would find a codependent partner who does not confront too much or at least is more succesfull at conditioning him then a poor PwBPD and only accepts and search therapists they consider non threatening - maybe even easy to manipulate.
      PwBPD should also get personal counceling from specialized therapists and practice dialectical behavioral therapy or a similarly effective method.
      Maybe pink even does this but does not feel comfortsble talking about it openly.
      Partners of pwBPD often fall into a codependent pattern and make themselves more and more vulnerable and manipulatable over the course of a relationship. IdK much about her husband or her "perfect little punching bag" as she calls him "lovingly" in a few performances.
      I just think we should neither stigmatize nor paint it all positive to see through "pink glasses" ;P

I find her to be one of the most congruent people, which if true beacuse I get why you say about the whole image thing or seeming positive about the negative if being a mask for deeper mentalconditions. Then she comes off the way you are explaining beacuse she's taking alot of accountablilty in her life and ownership which when you do that whole heartedly you're not hanging on to the guilt or negativity around it but moving on with forgiveness and honesty and still saying and admitted yeah hey I did that shit or this how I handled things or felt by this happening to me this is what I did with it in this time of my life and learned from those mistakes same with her her lyric perfect little bunching bag. She doesn't refer to him as that but think it was a way of saying hey yeah I did that and that I'm not perfect, I own it wasn't cool of me, if she is being honest true and transparent.
