    I've forgotten to pack stuff before a match too, but neglecting to bring the stock for your PCC is just irresponsible.

    Nice shooting! Where is the recoil energy going? I don't see your arms move much when the gun fires.

    Nicely done. Great result and nice to see you’re not afraid to have a crack at another division. I also greatly appreciate the effort you put in editing your videos, as a IPSC shooter I enjoy your vids the most because you make the effort to include not just time/Hf/% but also the hits and stage winner. It gives so much more context. I’m sure it’s a hassle, but it’s appreciated. 👍

      thanks. It took a while but I've gotten pretty fast at it. Copy + Paste title, I have competitor open on my phone to view stats as I type them in. Hardest part is not making a mistake haha

      @@Maxamundi either way it’s appreciated. Without the context of your hits + time combined with your HF vs the stage winning HF a video of someone running around just squirting bullets look roughly the same as someone pulling off a top level stage run (or even stage win). also, for nerds like me it helps me analyze that risk/reward balance on different stage ‘types’. 👍

    Hi Max, great video! Why did you choose to shoot in Open Division and what are, based on your experiences, the 3 big differences in technques and tactics between shooting PCC and (open) handgun?

      I have to get back to you on that, I've really only had about 3 weeks of prep in open and one local match before this.

    Hey Max, listened to you on Josh's podcast last year. If PCC could score major but was also limited to 171.25mm magazines, do you think we'd see more PCC shooters take top spot overall? I know that the PCC division being a lot newer doesn't have the skill pool that Open does but am wondering what the results would look like if both divisions had equally skilled shooters and the gun was the only factor

    • @Maxamundi
      @Maxamundi  Před 3 lety +2

      This is my first exposure to major scoring and having real top shooters to compare my results with. It's really hard to say now, but I think when the PCC average top skill level is a little more developed, you'll start to see them and Open competing very closely, with match/stage design favoring one over the other. Similar to how Limited Major and CO Minor are almost identical right now at the top level.

      @@Maxamundi Appreciate the input. You're one of the most analytical competitors I'm aware of even outside the shooting sports and I really like hearing your observations. That you placed at 88% of the winner with so little match experience and prep is simply extraordinary. Congratulations and looking forward to seeing your progress!
