Tyler Hoechlin is the best Clark Kent/Superman since Reeve imo, and I don't even think it's close. As a Superman fan who's been disappointed with pretty much all the films of the past almost 20 years, his portrayal has really been a gift. I hope they're able to go out on a high note in their final season.
This was so hard to watch last year I'm used to seeing Johnathan Kent die but not Martha Kent never saw her pass away before like how Aunt May died in Spider-Man NWH so hard to see.
I just realised that Superman has super hearing and was probably trying to pick out any of her sounds from her last heartbeat to her last words. I'm assuming he must have heard nothing and just flew within the longest few seconds of his life.....

Jonathan dying is hard enough, but Martha Kent really was Clark’s anchor and always was in every interpretation of superman so this scene destroys me
The fear in his Heart to enter the room and to gaze up at his Mother's body .... oof ... that is as relatable as it is Heart rending .
he may not be the best superman, but he surely one hell of a clark!
