Does anyone else experience slow fan ramp up and down with their Unify-X Z690??? I have it set to 0,1 ms, but it takes kind of a long time to spin up to max speed, like it's in slow motion or as if the fan would be set to smooth, but there is no way to change that. I had Apex previously and no issue with fans, they were spinning instantly. Is my motherboard fan controller broken or does it need a firmware update? BIOS is already updated to A30. Thanks.
@@giantbearjj2452 Yes, I've set the fans to PWM, Smart Fan Mode and 0,1 ms response time in BIOS. I wouldn't say my fans fans respond in 0,1 ms... More like 1 second.
Please tell me, is this one is better than msi meg z690 unify? O want to buy unify (without x) but is this right choice for pc gaming? Is difference big between them?
@@giantbearjj2452 yes, got it. But will unify without x be worse if I do overclocking of RAM? I really would buy unify x but in my city its absent. And I can't get this mb. Only unify
@@darikb.9186 I would recommend just get unify. Unify-x can only bring you a very tiny performance boost from ram vs having to sacrifice up to 64 ~ 128G memory in the future.
@@giantbearjj2452 thank you!!! And one more question if you don't mind. If I want to overclock ram will unify be much worse than unify x? I know that unify is better but is there big advantage over unify if we talk about overclocking?
@@darikb.9186 Not going to be much worse as I would assume, just think of it as an average 4 DIMM slot board. You will be fine with either one of those.
Thanks for the unboxing !

Hello did you tune this in bios or msi center? I personally haven't experienced anything like this before.

I'm thinking of getting this too
It is a good mobo. The latest bios is strong and can do great oc on ram. I would recommend it.
So I’d the unify x worse or better ?

unify-x sacrifices 2 dimm slots for oc ability. Depending on your needs to use more memory (4 dimms vs 2 dimms) or you want to enjoy overclocking.
