Play a part of the map with Fen. Don’t activate them all at once. Keep two in your pockets. Get crafty where you put the mines.
This is a good idea if your team has brought other trap operators to cover other parts of the map. But if you’re the only trap operator it’s kinda a selfish way to play in my opinion.
@@will.42069if you’re holding off a common push entirely on your own and your team just have to deal with 2 people between the 4 of them, it’s not selfish at all, takes a lot of pressure off the team, especially those sat on site
@@nero5564 obviously in that situation it would be ideal but I’d probably still rather have the intel - especially if there isn’t many operators who provide a lot of intel on your team.
When you place it in aqua on the chair instead of that, place it next to the chair on the right on the floor. There is a gap under the chair and it still activates and the chair will completely block it it's also good for prox alarms.
So if you look at aqua balcony door it will be on the right side of the chair on the floor.
You'd literally have to go prone or go around the chair to shoot it. Even proned it's very difficult to get unless you know it's there.
This is exactly what I've been waiting for mate. My favourite spot is on coastline - the drone hole above Hall of Fame. Goes for any throwable gadget. Stops them pushing penthouse dead easy.
Your VIP spot is a solid one that I use, I just do it on the corner to agitate people pushing cool vibes. One actually in billiards I've had success with is under the lip of the pool table. Cuts off default plant behind bomb.
Another great one is kitchen, in the freezer next to window. Done down low it's almost never spotted and causes genuine panic. Same goes for freezer on Emerald plains. I don't know if you covered it in your first Fenrir video but the mechanics of how the mine actually activates are really weird
On chalet basement, for the fifth bin F-NATT, you can actually get it on the wall next to the bin and it *seems* to be safe from grenades while having the same effect
4:11 I place mine one or two brackets down towards 90 because they still have cover in VIP to shoot it, but if I place it a little further down it activates when they are near 90 and VIP so there are 2 key callouts covered by one.
5:33 i place mine in the plants right next to the square and plants so when they push the Fnat has more success to fully activate.

My fav spots to put Fenrir/F-Natt/Dread Mines is under flat surfaces, like tables or shelves.
You can't get them much lower than that due to how they stick, but so long as it can see an Attacker's foot, it WILL blind them. And they won't be able to see unless they prone.
It's possible for drones to spot them, which is why I wait to put those until later in the round (edit: prep phase).
But one nice little trick: on a common push, place a really obvious dread mine they can clearly see, ust keep it inactive.
It's not a Lesion, or a Kapkan, but I guarantee it will nett you at LEAST 15 seconds off the clock as they waffle, hesitate, or even manage to destroy it. And as a Defender, 15 seconds can make a or break a round!
I'm a zero main, and I've found that good cams and good cam placement can destroy a decent fenrir player. I can use my cams to destroy the active dread mines, and the gonne 6 to destroy the inactive ones. Helps so many people not waste time before a push trying to clear 1 single mine. But I do 100% agree with you, fenrir is REALLY good, and if you play him right, he is soooo oppressive

make it .5 seconds makes it so I can swing faster. But I understand the full 1 second for blindness give you a chance to escape If your caught. Leaving the AOE to remove blindness would be cool. But I think the whole lore with Fenrir gas it's a nerve gas which is somthing you just don't walk our of range like you would a wi-fi signal of mute jammer. I would assume the gas has lasting effects like poison from lesion.
I don't say this often on any youtube channel, but you are incredibly underrated in the r6s community

@@RickJay13 yes, but I mainly say it for the sledge video with the granades, when he was down site he could have used the shotty to open the roof
@@elchaks6381 I guess, but most people don't run sledge shotty as he's an attacker and can't guarantee a close range gun fight. But now with the shotty buff I feel like it's a bit more viable
@@RickJay13 yep, but the video is not about getting kills with your best gun, it's about Fenrir spots and in the other vid it's about granades spots, I those cases, best to use the shotty for teaching. Of the video it's about positioning or something like that it's better to use the best gun

Im gonna tell you what works for me 9 times out of 10. Place 2 razor wires on each other but face different directions when placing the 2nd one. Then place mine in the center of that razor wire. They almost never find it. Usually placing it against a wall helps

In hookah place it on the floor in inside corner of the L shapeish chair. Window cant see it and when they go towards the window or anywhere newr the chair it will activate because there is a space underneath the L shape chair. Very hard to see and affects that whole area

Off within that area no matter if it sees you or not. Same I think mute should work. I think it should block attackers from planting within the area of the mute

Fenrir is such a power crept op. It’s odd to me that he has like the best trapping gadget and also an mp7 and bailiff. There’s very little reason to bring other trappers such as ela or thorn if fenrir is available. Not only are their gadgets worse but they don’t have a secondary shotgun .
