I am in more wearable art, Jewelry demographic for now, but I LOVE what you do. I recommend your goods to all my mama friends! 💕 I wish I could join you one weekend and learn from you! I do markets in wa st. I figured out I need to take more product. I sell dog bandana. Coasters and dog treat jars

Thank you soooo much for this video! I am in the central florida area and was not sure where to start. I have gone to many of the markets here in the area just to see how well they do and I ABSOLUTELY AGREE with what you have stated about the orlando local makers. They don't seem to do well (excluding the night night market in Lake Nona). There's never a crowd walking through there. I have not toured through Baldwin Park or Lake Nona. I will give it a try.
I have applied a couple of times with Collective Corner and the Milk Mart. They do not like me, 😂. They keep declining me..... They have an excellent community of supporters. I would also like to try Indie Flea in St. Pete and Tampa as well as the Dixieland Market in Lakeland (a bit of a drive and traffic). I just need to get out there and do them all and experience it for myself like you have.

Thank you so much for watching!! I definitely think with Collective Corner and Milk Mart (especially Milk Mart) it's all a matter of being kind of known in the market community if that makes sense? I think because I did a lot of the little markets and posted about it they got a better idea of what I sell and got to know a little more about me. I've thought about the Indie Flea too but yes it is definitely a loooonnnnnggg trek from here to there. I am doing the Mezzo Market and 904 Pop Up which are both pretty far from me but I'm hoping they're worth it lol. I hope this year goes great for you too and maybe I'll see you at a future Collective Corner & Milk Mart :)

If you have the right niche one can do well. My friend sells embroidery towels baby blankets and hooded bath towels and had her best year this year.

Side bar question: Newbie here,. in the mist of ordering my first text based quote via digitizer. initially stated approx. 9.5 inch but feel it's to long.
Designed for women's tees & crew necks, what would you consider a decent length for one line only text? Please & thank you.

I don't think 9.5 inches is too long, for reference my in my mom era sweatshirt is 11.5 inches long including the stars on both sides. I've always been a fan of bigger is better though lol. However I do put that one sweatshirts so I can understand that it may feel too big for a tee and crew neck. If possible I would do a stitch out on the design on a scrap piece of fabric and then lay it on the shirt and see how you feel about the size of it. I don't have an exact measurement answer for you because I do feel like it depends on the vibe of the designs, font, and placement of the text. I highly recommend joining this facebook group I'm in for embroidery business owners and you can get lots of other people's opinions too:

Is Orlando market good on weekends?
The Orlando Local Makers markets that I have done on the weekend have never been super successful. The winery, House on Lang, and Foxtail Coffee were weekend markets and didn't go super well!
