- This video is a vlog about how to stay warm at home on a cold winter day. I love the clear winter air, but I'm an indoor person who likes to stay warm and relaxed at home when it's cold. On weekends when I don't have to worry about time, I try to make soup from vegetable scraps and chicken broth in the morning, or do a little DIY to keep the cats and us warm. I've also tried baking chocolate fondant cake, as using the fire in the kitchen warms the house!
We also introduced a wonderful butcher shop in Paris. It's a small butcher shop, but the meat they sell is amazing, including aged meat! We've also got some tips on how to make a delicious aged meat steak from there.
Then I show you how to make pot-au-feu, a famous winter French dish, using the delicious meats we bought from the butcher shop. We hope you enjoy it and feel a bit warmer in heart afterwards.

Chocolates fondant
Ingredients for 4 mould (7cm x 4cm)
100g bitter chocolate
50g salted butter
3 eggs
50g sugar
2 tbsp flour
Toppings
Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, fruit, whatever you like
Tips for baking the chocolate fondant
When dusting the moulds with flour, use only a small amount as too much flour will turn the surface of the cake white.
The baking time depends on the type of oven, its peculiarities, the temperature of the dough and the size of the mould, even at the same temperature. Start by baking at 180°C for 8 minutes and work up to that. The cake should be puffy on the outside but still shiny and slightly soft in the centre. If you prefer the cake to be soft enough for the filling to flow, use a cocotte dish which you don’t have to unmould.

Hi! My grandmother used to keep the wrappers from the butter in a small plastic bag in the door of the refrigerator and used them to butter cake pans--they had the correct amount of butter residue on them, and were easy to wipe inside the pan, especially the creases. Beaucoup de français font un hachis parmentier avec le reste de viande et légumes qui sont coupés en petits morceaux mis dans un plat et on rajoute par dessus une purée de pomme de terre fait maison on mais ça, au four. Un plat qui réunit toute la famille.
La viande est très belle dans cette boutique.

Oi casal! Polvilhe as forminhas com chocolate em pó para não deixar o bolo branco. Aqui no Brasil chamamos essa sobremesa de "Petit-Gateau". E também no cozido adicionamos cúrcuma, para o caldo "pegar" cor. É só uma sugestão. Bon apetit!

Acá en México cuando hace frío el caldo es tradición, caldo de pollo, caldo de res, caldo de pescado, caldo de gallina, reconfortan el alma y cuerpo, y en algunos casos según tu estado de ánimo " te reinician la vida".
En otra ocasión prueben servir el plato con más caldo y agreguen: cilantro finamente cortado, cebolla cortada en cuadritos muy pequeños, chile fresco verde finamente picado y jugo de medio limón, así con toque a la mexicana. Provecho!!!
